Top-floor apartment - Landhaus Grimburg

Renovated in 2020, this vacation rental is located on the first floor of our Grimburg country house.
With an area of approximately 90 square meters, it features 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and dining area, a living room, a very spacious bathroom, and a generous hallway.
Large windows and additional skylights in each room create a pleasant and bright atmosphere.
The skylights are equipped with solar-controlled blinds and can be adjusted individually.
In the bright and cozy living area, which features an open kitchen with a dining table for 6 people, you can prepare and enjoy delicious meals. The adjoining living room, featuring a TV, DVD player, stereo system, and a wide selection of interesting books, games, and puzzles for all ages, offers you plenty of ways to keep yourself entertained, even if the weather isn’t cooperating...
The two bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed (180x200 cm and 140x200 cm). The beds are freshly made, and additional blankets and pillows are provided upon request. A cleaning service is available during your stay.
The spacious bathroom features a walk-in shower, toilet, and vanity unit, as well as a washing machine and a heat pump dryer.
Dogs allowed upon request—please feel free to contact us in advance.
For our four-legged guests, we provide separate towels, a cozy blanket, or a dog bed, as well as food and water bowls upon request.
Up-to-date and interesting information about the region and local events is available on a separate shelf in the living area.
A lockable storage room, e.g., for sports equipment, is available. The apartment can be booked online via electronic booking systems.

Our country house is located in a quiet spot on the outskirts of the tranquil village of Grimburg, a town with about 500 residents.

Surrounded by the beech and spruce forests of the Hochwald, you can choose between our first-floor vacation rental or our ground-floor vacation rental to enjoy your well-deserved vacation.
Our ground-floor vacation apartment is fully accessible, and there are no stairs, steps, or other obstacles inside the apartment either.
This makes the apartment suitable for people with disabilities.

The garden with a terrace, which can be used by guests of both apartments, is also fully accessible.

Set out on hikes along the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig or the “Traumschleifen” trails in the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park. Discover pristine forests in the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park. Cycle along the Ruwer-Hochwald Bike Trail, which follows the route of the former railroad line from Hermeskeil to Trier.
Or take day trips to discover romantic towns and beautiful landscapes along the Moselle, Saar, Nahe, and Rhine—the excellent access to the A1 offers many options…
There is a spacious parking space available for each apartment at both the front and rear of the building.
A newly installed photovoltaic system and a new heat pump heating system connected to it provide the apartments’ own energy and heat supply and contribute to sustainability.
Both vacation apartments have been completely renovated; the apartment on the first floor was completed in August 2020, and the ground-floor apartment in September 2023.
Both apartments are furnished in a modern country house style.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
Upon your arrival, you’ll find freshly made beds as well as hand and bath towels provided for the number of guests.
At the back of the house, you’ll find a large garden with a patio overlooking the natural surroundings...
A large aluminum table with 6 garden chairs, a parasol, various grills (wood-fired, gas, tabletop), and 2 aluminum lounge chairs are stored in a separate basement room that is directly accessible to you and can be used at any time.
You can also safely store bicycles and e-bikes in this room.
A wooden bench and a swing chair, as well as various play options, round out our offerings for enjoying the garden and patio.
Pets are allowed upon request (price: 5 euros per dog per day)
