Modern 2-bedroom 30 seconds to seafront

We enjoyed our stay in Brighton and this flat☺️

Very cute place, perfect size for a family of four with young kids. The place was clean and had a lot of little extras that you don't usually get in a holiday apartment - e.g. staple ingredients like olive oil, salt, tea bags and useful extras like laundry powder. It was so close to the seafront, a lovely pub around the corner and some fantastic restaurants within 5 mins walk.

The washing machine is handy but those not used to the smell of a combi washing machine and dryer might find it off putting - the bedding and towels were definitely washed in this machine. Would have been a lot nicer with more soft furnishings - a throw for the sofa and extra pillows! Unfortunately, my partner and I weren't able to sleep well in the beds, which were too soft for our liking.

Es war wirklich wie beschrieben und gezeigt. Die Ausstattung war super: alles da, aber nicht überladen. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Tolle Lage, Gute Anbindung und direkt am Meer.

Die Fensterschlößer waren ein ganz eigenes Patent, aber wurde in der Beschreibung gut erklärt. Und es hat mir nicht so gut gefallen wiede fahren zu müssen :-)

It was very close to the sea and walking distance from a supermarkets and the shops. I liked the decor but all of the paintwork needs a touch up. The kitchen had soap, kitchen roll, extra virgin olive oil and salt and pepper. (But it lacked some staple kitchen supplies). The mattress was comfortable thankfully.

The smell of mothballs in the bedrooms is very literally, unbearable. (It actually woke me up through the night!!). It’s so so awful, PLEASE remove them from the apartment and deal with moths in a different way. Also, the hoover is too weak for carpets and not picking dust up properly. So my asthmatic friend had to sleep in the living room (with the hard floors) on the sofa as the bedroom was making her cough and wheezy. (This could be attributed to damp also). The communal hallway was filthy, I hoovered it myself. (The cleaner should be paid to do this). The kitchen lacks basic utensils such as a colander, a bread knife, and appropriate glassware. And the windows were filthy dirty. The bedrooms need mirrors on the wall, better lighting, and some kind of dressing table. Also, 2 hangers per person is not enough.
