It was delightfully private. You felt like you were in the woods despite being in a semi urban location

The hosts were absolutely delightful, helpful and very kind. They had good advice for their visitors both about Ucluelet and the surrounding areas. The sauna and hot tub were totally private. There was a lovely outside area as well as the suit and you wanted for nothing for a comfortable stay. Certainly very happy to recommend this stay for others.

Staying at Forest Sweet Retreat was the highlight of our trip to BC, and a welcome respite after my spouse's seven city tour of the province with her tango band. We made full use of the hot tub, outdoor shower, and wood-burning sauna, nestled in a private, multi-level, lush backyard surrounded by forest. The apartment was cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped. We appreciated the welcoming touches left by the host. The beach and "main strip" in Ucluelet were in easy walking distance, which we appreciated after a 6-course meal at the fantastic restaurant Pluvio nearby, which we needed to walk off! We also enjoyed breakfast at The Break and an absolutely stunning walk along The Lighthouse Trail. All in all, an ideal stay, and we would definitely like to return!
