Very private, beautiful facilities, great location and very cosy & comfy

Staying at Forest Sweet Retreat was the highlight of our trip to BC, and a welcome respite after my spouse's seven city tour of the province with her tango band. We made full use of the hot tub, outdoor shower, and wood-burning sauna, nestled in a private, multi-level, lush backyard surrounded by forest. The apartment was cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped. We appreciated the welcoming touches left by the host. The beach and "main strip" in Ucluelet were in easy walking distance, which we appreciated after a 6-course meal at the fantastic restaurant Pluvio nearby, which we needed to walk off! We also enjoyed breakfast at The Break and an absolutely stunning walk along The Lighthouse Trail. All in all, an ideal stay, and we would definitely like to return!

Exceptionally quiet and tranquil space that’s private, cozy and feels like a little cabin in the woods! Hot tub is soothing and hot, wood fired sauna is incredible! All amenities at your fingertips made it a real pleasure!
