It’s a shame that the place is in need of maintenance and a good clean! The bedding needs renewing also!
In a lovely area with Hawkshead village close by. The cabin was nice and warm and had internet.
It’s a cabin with a garden area that are both in need of maintenance. The cabin is not very clean and the bedding is stained!

DO NOT STAT HERE DISGUSTING. NO COMMUNICATION.

We turned up the door was open keys on table inside room. Bed was strawn across middle of the room. sink was full out pubes and bleach. Wee all over the toilet seat. Cubards in middle of room. Dirty dishes/ cutlery. Plates not put away. Floor was disgusting. Room hadn't been cleaned before arrival. Bed hadn't been changed. Bed sheet had poo stains smeared on them and rubbish. The place was disgusting. Couldn't get in touch with host. Booking.com or cottages.com couldnt get in touch with host. We were told we couldnt stay at the accomodation with the state it was in. After 4 hours on the phone to booking.com we finally managed to arrange a relocation at 21:30 completely ruined the first evening of our holiday.

Great stay would definitely book again
In a quiet peaceful area, great wee garden bit, equipped pretty well for cooking.
The shower wouldn’t drain and the bathroom smelt a bit damp that’s the only downfall to this lovely wee lodge.

Cosy little lodge in a beautiful location.
Cosy little lodge, very clean and tidy. Small space but we were fine with that. Lovely bathroom and a comfy bed. Great location to go and explore the Lakes. ☺️
There was only one BBQ utensil and no other cooking utensils and no washing up sponge. Dining chairs were quite uncomfortable.

Comfy bed nicely dressed. Heating worked. Hot water Private location Good Wi-Fi
Shower rail fell of wall immediately as wasn’t attached Sat on outside swing and it collapsed! No kindling or dry wood for fire pit Kitchen layout poor. No PAT testing of any electrical items
