Ees Wyke Studio

The location is great. Even though you are near the lake, you need to walk half an hour to get there. The studio is well presented and cozy. Overall a nice place to stay. The host was very kind and lovely.

For the price paid it could have improvements, All toiletries were almost empty and filled with a bit of water, which it was diluted. The check in was weird, we were never asked for our name.

the view from the property was stuning

Beautiful location, cozy studio for myself and away from the bustle of the main crowds.

Not sure anything could have been better. Was a little difficult to prep and store food but I understand that it was a small space with limited storage options. Perhaps a fold up table would help?

Lovely building & location. Very quaint & chocolate box look.

Fixtures and fittings I thought were very budget. Pictures on the wall looked like they'd been cut out from a magazine. I got an initial impression that the property had been furnished for a very minimal amount... nothing felt 'quality'. Plaster peeling off wall in a couple of areas. Black mold in shower cubicle with tired silicone sealant. Gunge in shower head. Sink hot taps scolding hot. Small double bed. Very weathered front door with rusting ironware around handle. There was no 'theme' inside the property and it had a feeling that it's contents had been thrown in from a second hand shop. Nothing matched and had a 'student flat' feel about it.
