We stayed at Haus Kalendes for one week starting September 19th and were absolutely delighted with our experience. The place is beautiful, especially the garden, which made our stay feel so relaxing. The house itself is decorated in a very individual and loving way, and you can feel the personal touch in every detail. Everything you could possibly need is provided, which made traveling with our little daughter very easy and comfortable.
Whenever something came up, the owner was easy to reach and very helpful, always ready to assist quickly. We truly appreciated this level of care.

We really enjoyed many things about this place. The location is beautiful, with plenty of relaxing spots: a small pool, a swing, a hammock, TV, washing machines for both dishes and clothes, and even a small barbecue. The house is decorated with many details, which might feel a little “crowded” for some, but everything looks exactly like in the pictures. Dimitri was the one who welcomed us — a very cheerful and helpful person, you can definitely count on him. We recommend this place for relaxation, if you don’t mind some small inconveniences.
Useful information we would have liked to know in advance:
The property is located on top of a hill, so you definitely need a car to get there. From the parking area you go down several stairs to reach the house. (It is possible to drive down a slope to get closer, but we wouldn’t recommend it.)
There are 2 bathrooms: one upstairs between the bedrooms, and a very small service bathroom downstairs. The second one cannot really be used for showers as it’s too small and has no curtain.
The chandeliers inside are quite large for the ceiling height, so if you are taller, you might bump into them.
The house is part of a duplex, and while the exterior space is not strongly separated, it didn’t bother us. No one entered our yard, and even though we had neighbors during the last two nights, they didn’t disturb us at all — we could only hear them talking sometimes.
In the twin bedroom there were only two small shelves for storage, so we had to keep many of our things in suitcases or on one of the beds. This room also had 2 vacuum cleaners and an ironing board, which made the space feel crowded. The second bedroom was perfectly fine.
The walls are quite thin, so you can hear almost everything from other rooms or from the ground floor.

All amenities one could ask for & a wonderful kitchen. Beautifully decorated but the design of the traditional verandah & landscaped garden allows one to always be cooled by the shade & to enjoy the views below of the valley of olive groves & a gorgeous forest on one side.
Ten minutes drive to the secluded Possidi beach & nearby attractions.
