A Minha Casa

Host César was exceptional - nothing was too much trouble for him. The accommodation was lovely with fantastic views over Funchal. It was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. We had a brilliant trip despite some changeable weather!!!

You just need to be aware that it is up a very steep hill with limited turning space. We used local taxi’s which were cheap and reliable or you would need to hire a car.

Absolutely amazing stay at A Minha Casa in Funchal! This place exceeded all our expectations. The house is incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed, with attention to every detail. It truly feels like a home away from home, but even better. The kitchen is fully equipped, the living areas are very comfortable, and everything is perfectly set up for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The highlight is definitely the terrace and outdoor space – the views over Funchal and the ocean are simply breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Madeira. The host was exceptional – warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we will definitely come back. Highly, highly recommended!

Fint hus med otrolig utsikt. Det var också väldigt välstädat och fräscht. Värden var också extremt trevlig och hjälpsam.

Det ligger en motorväg precis ovanför. Den störde inte oss särskilt mycket, men det är bra att vara medveten om ifall man ska bo här.

Everything was on top. You need to be aware that the location gives you amazing view of the town, however on the other side, you need to almost climb the hill while getting back from the city center.
