Triplex près de la Grand-Place

Lovely, quiet and cosy apartment in 5 floors. The interior was very nice, also nice views to the quiet inner yard. Kitchen well equipped and large. Huge bathroom. Very centrally located but still off the busy tourist area.

It would’ve been nice to have a fan in the bathroom and lounge room, because it was extremely hot weather (+37) in Bruxelles during our visit. A washing machine for clothes would have been a nice thing to have. The stairs between the floors were ok but they can be challenging to someone, especially the very narrow staircase to basement where the kitchen was.

Lo que mas me gusto fue la ubicacion (pleno centro) pero sin ruido y en un sitio muy tranquilo. Ademas de Alain el anfitrion que fue super atento y amable.

Appartement très bien situé, très propre et bien équipé. Lit confortable. On recommande et nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Location, WiFi, comfy bed, mostly warm except freezing cold on our arrival and took long time to heat up.

HAZARDOUS STAIRS BEWARE. The spiral staircase is ridiculously narrow even for a slim person, you have to try and walk sideways even to carry a shopping bag down to the kitchen in the basement. Virtually impossible to carry food/drink to the dining room on the floor above, and the kitchen, being in the basement is quite dingy for dining. I feel safer carrying boxes up the ladder to my attic than on these steps. Also there are holes in the floor (around the edge of the spiral) which have no safety railings, de the light switch is positioned right over across the staircase. Every room is on a different floor, and the stair bannisters are very flimsy. Any change of room involves stairs eg bedroom to bathroom is two sets of stairs away. There is no storage in the bedroom, but a wardrobe in the dining room 2 staircases below, which is not very practical. There are no wastebins except for kitchen and bathroom so any waste paper/tissue etc has to be carried to either top floor bathroom or basement kitchen.
