Great location in the middle of the town, great apartment with all utilities provided.
The ‘engine’ on the roof outside by the pool (when on) creates a level of white noise that makes being outside by the pool impossible. The staff kindly switched it off for us as we were the only guests and apparently this governs the ACs in the apartments. So I am sure it is needed for a few weeks in the year but outside that I would keep it switched off so you can enjoy the quiet of a small town.

Beautiful suite in a charming traditional village! The view from the balcony and the pool were highlights for us and our kids. Excellent tavernas nearby and it was close to Heraklion, Knossos, and beautiful beaches

The villa is lovely, and has been renovated to a very high standard. We didn’t meet the owners/managers but had everything we needed.
We had a really good time. Archanes is a good base for visiting many places, and only 20mins from the centre of Heraklion.
The town itself has a number of very good tavernas, and supermarkets. The local wine is excellent
Overall I would absolutely recommend Vin Dimora if you plan to visit Archanes.
Nothing of note, but some hopefully useful advice to visitors
Don’t blindly follow Google maps. We got sent a ridiculous route to the villa! The villa is up in the old part of the town, and roads are very steep and narrow, with some not so obvious one ways. The owners show 2 free parking areas, but I would park in the free parking spaces on the relative flat near the town centre businesses. We had no trouble parking there and it’s just 5 mins to the Villa.

Prachtige locatie, alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Schoon, alle benodigdheden zijn aanwezig.
Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren, zeer behulpzaam.
Heerlijke rustige plek!
De appartementen zijn wat gehorig.
