Studio Alvor Bay Dream by Interhome

This small studio is ideally placed for access to the beach, it is also a short walk to the main town area of around 10 minutes although there are bars and restaurants closer as well. There is a lovely boarded walkway right along the beach which we used every morning. The view from the balcony, which is a good size, is spectacular looking over the sea, the boardwalk and the marina and has the most fantastic sunset views; the studio is on the 11th floor and is serviced by 2 lifts. There is a modest size supermarket a 5 minute walk away, or if you have access to a car there is a Lidyl and Aldi a short drive away in Portimao. We would definitely stay in this studio again if holidaying in Alvor.

There were a few minor maintenance issues such as some light bulbs not working in the kitchen area and although there was a hairdryer it was not working properly; we didn't report these to the agent we met at the apartment block so cannot comment as to whether they would have been rectified during our stay if we had. Locating the apartment was not easy, fortunately we had rented a car from the airport which had a sat nav and the car hire put the address into it for us. When we arrived we then walked around until we found what we thought was the correct block and waited for the key holder to arrive. These were minor issues and definitely would not put us off staying in the same studio in the future.
