Boardwalk on Honeysuckle

The location cannot be better, I could live my life on the balcony watching the ships come and go, lovely walks, and very close to some excellent cafes and restaurants

They could have been clearer about where to park…parking bay E205 for example would let us know we had the right bay, sounds basic but we weren’t sure. Also when told to put the rubbish in the outdoor bins….there is a rubbish chute behind an unmarked door out in the corridor. The keys were poorly marked. All fairly little stuff but would have made our stay just a little bit smoother. They did say there would be a starter pack, there was shampoo etc in the bathroom. However there was only a 80 ml pack of milk in the fridge, which, when the apartment can sleep up to 6, seems a little mean.

Great location and view.

With five people in our party, it was inconvenient to have only one door entry key. Particularly, as the front door intercom for the building was not working. Also, there was no soap in the bathrooms, despite shampoo and conditioner being available.

The property is located near cafes and restaurants and not far from the tram stop to get down to the beach end. Very comfortably furnished for a group. You can self cater easily as the kitchen is a good size and there is a bbq.

For a group, two sets of keys would be an advantage. The second bedroom,whilst has roller blinds, would benefit from heavy curtains as the sliding door faces east so you wake up when the sun rises. A larger smart TV and a portable speaker would be good.

Great location with beautiful views from the balcony. Easy to access the myriad of restaurants and foreshore walk. Secure parking on site.

Unfortunately the unit was dirty, not from the latest guests, but long term filth and dust. We made a call to Leanne, just to ensure she was aware and didn't charge us for extra cleaning, however instead of apologies, demands were made to send photos whilst we were at dinner! We declined a cleaner for the next day obviously...we were on holiday, had paid over $500 a day for the unit, and weren't going to hang around all day whilst the cleaning was done. We had to wear socks in the unit so other people's hair did not go between bare toes. We chose not to cook after seeing the food scraps and stains in the pantry and drawers. Walls had food and makeup stains on them, the windows were streaked and filthy, the balcony worse...our feet black just stepping on it. Light switches were covered in months of dirty usage, bathroom fans and walls clearly never cleaned. No welcome UHT milk, only 1 bathroom had soap ( none in the kitchen or master bathroom). Disgusting. Such a lovely apartment, laziness and rude management completely spoiled our visit. Not sure why I couldn't add photos to this post, as they say a picture is worth a thousand words
