Casa Ensolarada

Great location, but room for improvement in communication, cleanliness, and privacy We recently stayed at this apartment in Lagos. The location is great, and the apartment definitely has potential. We really enjoyed our time in the area, but unfortunately, there were several issues that made the stay less pleasant. Upon arrival, the apartment was not properly cleaned. There were (sauce) stains on the bedding, and food residue on the cutlery and chopping boards. Additionally, the bottle of wine and bottled water that were mentioned in the instructions were missing. The safe wasn’t working, and although we reported this immediately, the host (M) – despite promising to come by the next day – never showed up and stopped responding to our messages altogether. After five days, the towels were replaced, which is appreciated, but this happened without any prior notice. The instructions clearly state that cleaning will be announced in advance, which is important for guests’ privacy. Especially with a broken safe, it felt uncomfortable knowing someone had entered the apartment without informing us beforehand. We only noticed because fresh towels had been left on the bed. All in all, the stay wasn’t bad, and we wouldn’t necessarily advise against it, but there is definitely room for improvement when it comes to communication, cleanliness, and respecting guests’ privacy.

Todas las habitaciones de la casa eran grandes y muy amplias. Nos dejaron toallas para la piscina, las utilizamos el último día, para no llevarnos húmedas las nuestras. La piscina está genial y había muy poca gente siempre, el socorrista nos guardo las gafas de bucear que olvidamos! Muy amable!!

Lagos ha crecido urbanísticamente demasiado...

Location was fantastic, 10 mins walk to the marina and also has a beautiful pristine beach about 5 mins away on the other side. The apartment is well looked after by Mieke who made us feel very comfortable the whole time. Balcony views for sunset are amazing and the pool is very clean and was not busy while we were there in July. Also recommend the airport transfer which they can sort making travel much more hassle free

The power tripped while we were there but was a quick and easy problem to sort with the fuse box. They are looking into it so shouldn’t be an issue in the future
