Location: Close to A71 and A89 motorways (ca 10 km), above Clermont-Ferrand at the volcanic slopes is a good place for an overnight stay. The apartment is located in a residential area. Could also be a base for exploring volcanic area near Clermont-Ferrand. Hotel: the apartment is located in a residential building at the level -1. As there is a slope, the level -1 from one side means the level +1 from another side. The entrance to the building is controlled by the owner by WiFi, when you collect keys from a lock-box inside the building, you can open the entrance yourself using a token attached to the keys. The apartment consists of a tiny bedroom, large living room combined with a kitchenette, a bathroom and a separate WC. The apartment is fully equipped including backing oven, dish washer and laundry machine, so it is possible to spend here more days. Room: large, regular table to eat your meal or work, electric sockets: easily available except bedroom lighting: good. Stairs/elevator: there is an elevator (helpful if you carry bags), however the elevator worked on the arrival day but did nor worked the next day. Bed: large and comfortable, only one duvet, but large enough, so we did not fight for it at night. Bathroom: small but functional, large and comfortable shower cabin, there is a washing machine in the bathroom. Kitchenette is fully equipped, including manuals for all equipment installed in the apartment. WiFi: good. Staff: You will get a detailed instruction how to collect keys and get to the apartment. If you have any problem the host responds immediately. Parking: There is a private parking place assigned to the apartment. The place is blocked to prevent unauthorized parking, so you must collect keys before parking at the place. The parking place is the first in a row what gives some additional space

Location: Residential area means that there is no grocery nor restaurant nearby. I would recommend shopping at one of the commercial centers near the motorway before arriving to the apartment. Room: when we arrived there was some unpleasant smell, but disappeared when we opened the window. Bed: the space around the bed is tiny (two doors to the bedroom help), no shelf or table to put glasses. Bathroom: the separate WC have no washing basin, so you must enter the bathroom anyway to wash hands. Breakfast: no breakfast, no place to eat breakfast close to the apartment, you must prepare your own (remember about shopping in advance).

Great location, good price, parking available, tasteful interiors

A little noisy, not too bad though. I'd appreciate if coffee was provided - we were on a road trip around France, and you know, every apartment has a different coffee machine... So buying a bag of coffee pods every other day gets a little pricey in the end. Not too bad though - there are enough coffee shops in town.

The apartment was very well renovated - just as you can see in the pictures. It has everything you need, in great condition.

The house, where the apartment is located, and the location in general looks a little scatchy. At first we were a little scared to leave our car there but the apartment is right next to the parking lot so we could see the car and you can lock the car in the parking spot when parking the car to the very front of the parking spot and setting up the lock of the spot again. After that we felt quite safe. Unfortunately the walls are very thin which made our sleep very uncomfortable since we could here when someone was flushing a toilet or just using the sink… We did not sleep very well. However, if you bring earplugs you will be fine.

Zeer rustige locatie met eigen parkeerplek vlakbij het mooie kuurpark van Royat.

C’était très propre et très confortable. Les explications données pour trouver le logement sont claires.

L’insonorisation de l’appartement (sûrement de l’immeuble en général),on entendait l’eau couler d’autres appartements pendant la nuit. Il n’y avait pas de savon pour les mains aussi.
