Inverness Highland Apartment

I loved that it was easily walkable to anything we wanted to do it town. Easy access to the station, since we took the train rather than a car. The extras Martin provided in the house - welcome snacks, tea, coffee, milk, bathroom supplies, etc. - were wonderful and very hospitable gestures. The washing machine was extremely appreciated, so I didn't have to find a laundromat. Martin went out of his way to accommodate my feather & down allergy issue and made sure all the bedding was hypoallergenic materials. This was so very kind and much appreciated so I could feel well while exploring this neat city & surrounding areas.

The biggest downfall was the amount of noise that continued from outside, all through the night. The seagulls were roosting by the window on the roof and were particularly loud at times, and the people coming to and from the bars and buses echoed loudly through the alleyways especially at 'last call' and each time a new bus pulled into town. If you are a light sleeper, bring white noise or earplugs.

The host, Martin, was incredibly responsive - he got back to us immediately with any questions we had - and did everything he could to make our check-in easy. The suite is gorgeous and comfortable, and in an excellent central location, steps from shops and restaurants. It had all the amenities that we required, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We would stay here again any time!
