Villa Androniki

The villa was lovely, tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and the bedding and towels were very good quality. There were also very nice toiletries in each bathroom. There were great views of both Souda Bay and snow capped mountains. The hosts were perfect, providing help and advice when needed, such as helping us arrange taxis, but they were not intrusive and let us get on with our holiday. They also left us lovely food to welcome us, including a delicious cake and also some really nice gifts. The kitchen was well equipped, the appliances were modern and everything worked as it should. The beach is a short walk away and easily reached on foot. There is also a very nice beach cafe & a nice nature walk. Souda town is further on, it has some nice cafes, a large supermarket, but not much else to interest you.

We liked everything about the property, but I would say that you really need a hire car or this to get around, as the bus stop can only be reached by walking along a busy road (the traffic is slow, but there is a lot of it).

Bellissimo appartamento, dotato di tutti i confort. Pulito e curato. Il proprietario gentilissimo ,siamo stati veramente coccolati.. abbiamo trovato un ottima torta fatta in casa ed altri dolci appena arrivati, ci hanno offerto uova e olio. Un po’ fuori dal centro ma comodo per spostarsi anche nelle diverse spiagge

Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig und komplett ausgestattet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und die kleinen „Geschenke“ (Kuchen, Sweets, Abendessen, Rotwein, Raki…) waren unerwartet und sehr aufmerksam. Man hat einen sehr schönen Blick auf den Hafen von Souda. Der Vermieter (und die Bewohner im Erdgeschoss) sind super nett und äußerst hilfsbereit.

Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen ist die Nähe zur teilweise stark befahrenen Straße und die Moped-/Motorradfahrer mögen es manchmal schon sehr laut. Abends wird es aber ruhiger.
