I had a lovely short holiday.

The apartment was right next to the beach, and the area was lively — within walking distance of almost everything. We stayed in an apartment with a sea view, just metres from the water’s edge. Being so close to mini‑markets, cafés, and restaurants made the stay especially convenient. Despite the central location, the setting felt relaxed and inviting.

One thing I didn’t like is the large number of stray cats around Crete, which feels unfortunate for a country in the EU.

Absolutely perfect! From the moment you are greeted from the host Michalis to check-out. The room was very comfortable and super clean. The shower was so good. The view from the balcony was amazing. Close to lots of restaurants and to the old town. Everything was perfect. Nothing like waking up to the sound of crashing waves.

Fabulous Apartments in Chania

We spent 5 nights at the Nais Apartments and loved it. Our apartment was very large and our balcony was huge with spectacular views of the ocean right in front of us. The apartment was very comfortable, super clean and had everything we needed. The location is ideal with a beach right out front for early morning after evening swims, lots of restaurants right near by and the heart of old Chania only about a 10 minute walk away. The host was very welcoming and informative. She was also very responsive.

Nice location and view

Location is great, in a very lively area and walking distance to Old Harbour and city centre. There are so many amazing cafes/restaurants with sea view just around the corner. The balcony doors are soundproof so you don't hear any noise at night (also curtains are making the room pitch black so you don't have to worry about light getting in). And the view from the room is just amazing!

The shower was leaking water to the bathroom floor because of how the shower door installed and it was creating a mess everytime we showered.

A gem 💎

We loved our stay at Nais. The view waking up in the morning was beautiful, the location was ideal, the room was clean with regular cleaning during our stay, and Michalis and his family really make it feel like a home with things like umbrellas and bat&ball to use during your stay! Everything was thought of and their kindness and advice during our stay was very heartwarming. We will be recommending it to our family and friends!

Nais apartments are really Nice🌊

Everything! The location and the view,the welcome and help by the staff, the facilities- we had even a washing machine and detergent! Water pressure was excellent, room and bathroom lighting was great, shampoo& conditioner were local and plant-based...we had a great time here, going to the nearby restaurants and bars, walking to the Chania center and to the beach! It would be nice to have a mop for shower spills 🙂 An added bonus are the Netflix, YouTube and Prime video buttons on the TV remote. We could watch using our accounts!

Great appartment

The location and facilities were excellent. Staff were very friendly. Appartment was serviced on day 3 of our stay which was lovely and and on leaving we were given a gift bag with some local produce which was lovely. Our balcony overlooked the ocean and the location was central to everywhere. They even have a extensive list of restaurants that are good to eat at. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was perfect for what we needed: great location (close to the centre but quiet place by the sea), have all amenities needed (washing machine, coffee machine etc) and Athanasia was always available and easy to communicate with.

Nais Apartments best apartments in the world.

The beautiful location mixed with the sea view from the balcony makes for a really enjoyable stay. The personnel was really friendly and the service was impeccable. We could even take free sunscreen which was really helpful. The rooms are tidy with room service if you'd like, extra cleaning was free as well.

Loved everything about it. It is a small, family owned and run apartment building. They were super communicative before and during the trip. Right on the waterfront with fabulous sunsets from the large, wrap around balcony. Just a 5 min walk to the harbor and a lot of restaurants and things to do. Very quiet at night and the mornings. The apartment is large, so plenty of room for our stuff and still sprawl out. Plenty of restaurants right out front with a small beach just a block away.

FAB-U-LOUS we are returning next year

Great views. Spacious apartment. Exactly as in the photos. We loved the area Koum Kapi and only a short 10 minute walk into the old Harbour town. The bar below the apartments played great jazz music. We always like to book apartments when away and this time my husband said I’d surpassed myself and it would be hard to find better in Greece. So much so that we are booking again for 2026. But please don’t rush to book before we’ve got our dates sorted 😄

Location was amazing, service was so good, kindest people ever. Beds and blankets were comfy, tons of shampoo, conditioner and coffee pods, towels, everything was abundant. Slippers, hangers, iron, ironing board, laundry rack, multiple trash cans, broom and dustpan...so many little things that helped us. the place was really, really, pretty and super clean, the view was incredible. Tips: Some rooms have a bedroom facing the water and some have the living room facing the water. If that is important to you, discuss your room choice with the owners. Also, the bathtub/shower in our room wouldn't be accesible for those who are prone to falls but the owners said they are aware of that and are renovating the bathrooms to fix this. You can tell they pay attention to every little details. When we came (earlier than regular check in) they were painting the iron railing on the porch. They take great pride in making sure everything is super nice. They even helped us to get our car started when it wasn't working. Walking distance to the old town, right on the water, perfection. P.S. I left something there, they sent it to me via international air and refused to let me pay for the postage. Really, best hosts ever and most beautiful place.

The hosts were very welcoming and caring! Location and view is amazing, the sea view is so beautiful. A lot of restaurants and bars around, but you can still have your piece at the apparentment. You can go swimming every day, the tiny beach is very close!

Good location and fantastic view

We had a wonderful stay at Nais Apartments. Although we arrived late, we were met at the apartment to get our keys. We booked the apartment with sea view on the third floor and boy did we get a view. The apartment also had a balcony on two sides of the apartment which was nice since it gave options in regards to sun and wind. The location turned out to be quite good as there was a 15min walk along the water to the main city centre and the touristy areas so it was a bit more quiet while still having a multitute of restaurant options and a larger supermarket 10min walk away. We had a couple of broken lights in the apartment but these were fixed as soon as we informed the owner. We had a late flight home and could leave our bags at the apartment building during the day. There is a small beach in front of the apartment for those who wants a morning swim. The kitchen was function, although there could be more utensils and cookware.

Be aware that there are restaurants close by by the boardwalk along the sea, which means there can be some loud evenings. When we arrived, there was a swing dancing party at the bottom of our house and another evening there was an Easter party in the sisha-restaurant next door. On both occations, the hotel owner informed us how long these parties were going on for (23.00 and midnight) which made it easier to cope with.

This is a fantastic place to stay in Chania; great location, stunning bay views and a warm welcome

Excellent location close to old town but also with magnificent view of sea with access to the beach. Plenty of wardrobe space and very roomy accommodation. Lovey terrace overlooking the bay with magnificent picture windows. There is a lift to access all floors which was really useful with cases.We were made exceptionally welcome by our hosts who gave us gifts of wine, raki and flowers on arrival and also a parting gift of oils and tea. They did everything they could to help us and we loved staying at Nais.

The shower head unfortunately didn’t fit the shower holder correctly so it had to be held which was a shame.

Amazing place

The place is amazing with great views at the Cretan sea. The apartment is wonderful, big and clean, you find there everything you need. Michalis and Athanasia are wonderful, very heplful and friendly host. I really recommend this great place and I will definitely come back there with my friends.

Amazing location: right in front of a small and lovely beach with plenty of restaurants and cafes. Just 7 min stroll to the old harbor. The apartment comes fully equipped with everything you might need (including a washing machine). Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend!
