The view is stunning, and the location is perfect. There’s also a small beach nearby where you can jump straight into the water, so you don’t need to drive anywhere for a swim.
The only small downsides were that it can get a bit noisy on weekends if you’re a light sleeper, which is understandable given the central location, and there is no mosquito net on the balcony door, so keeping it open in the evening can be a little inconvenient.

Location, location… open the door on your patio and enjoy the sea and also the life at night in the small restaurant closed by! Not too far from the old port and probably better since it is quieter! Very close to a sandy beach where you can take a swim. The apartment we had was big with all the proper necessities to cook and wash your clothes…
Coming at night can be a challenge for parking. The streets are narrow and dark. Our host was quick to help us guide us to a parking and we had no issues during our 3 nights in Chania
