It was surprisingly quiet, given its location near a busy street of bars and restaurants. The neighbours were a different story; they're not noisy but the walls do not insulate properly, which does not benefit privacy.
The fan in the bathroom didn't work, so the moisture turned the air in this tiny apartment suffocating. To be fair, I never asked if there was a trick to make it work.
