King Suite Centre Alkmaar

Fijn elektrisch verstelbaar bed en hartje centrum.

De accommodatie is erg donker binnen, er komt weinig daglicht binnen door de erg smalle steeg. Ook heb je geen mogelijkheid tot het openzetten van een raam. Daarnaast slechts 1 glas en 1 vieze theebeker aanwezig terwijl er wel koffie en thee gemaakt kan worden in de verder nette pantry. In de badkamer hangt de verlichting aan een elektriciteitskabel. Wel een fijne douche echter was het doucheputje verstopt.

De locatie is top, heerlijke bedden, in een ruime kamer, die ook met de hitte afgelopen dagen koel bleef, geen airco nodig. Klein keukentje met ruime koelkast en nespresso apparaat en waterkoker was ook ideaal.

Zoals meerderen al schreven om binnen te komen is wel een dingetje, heel smal. De kamer heeft geen raam wat open kan en geen daglicht, je moet de lamp aan hebben, allemaal wat schemerig! Konden onze fietsen er niet kwijt, brachten we naar de stalling 5 minuten lopen

Quirky, beautifully decorated. Excellent location. Very nice host, receptive on wats app. He let us check in early and check out late & store out bags. Comfortable bed, great shower, had everything you need for a few nights away. Clear check in / out instructions. Was expecting some noise at night as there were quite a few other apartments in the same block but it was actually very quiet and we slept really well. Also felt safe with good security.

It was a little dark due to the location, could do with some brighter light bulbs but it didn’t affect our stay at all.

A very hidden gem of a hotel right in the heart of the city. Incredibly comfortable walking time to any destination and an overall charming interior design that looked both cute and stylish. Very clean facility with every necessity provided, fresh towels, clean sheets, a big TV and comfortable sofa as well as a small kitchen with a kettle. On top of that, we were greated with some of the most delicious little chocolates on the counter. Not to mention the bathroom and kitchen were seperated from the main room by a "hidden" sliding door, disguised as a bookshelf, incredibly charming! Though we stayed only a couple days, we would love to return in the near future. The only minus for us was the uncertainty on how to check out but after lounging around in the main hallway and deciding to leave the key in the entrance box, we also met with the Owner/Manager of the place by accident and he showed us how to check out (which was basically just leaving the key in the front door locker, but not the one we took it out from. It was a matching locker with a letter instead of a number.) Overall our stay was a positive experience and we are delighted to book this suite again when we come back for more cheese ;)

Please put a small guide on how to check out properly in the suite or on the entrance door! If we didn't get assistance when leaving, we would've simply put the key back where we got it instead of the dedicated locker!
