The location is perfect so close to the centre and the main square in beautiful Alkmaar yet it’s in a quiet street so good for sleeping. My room was very comfortable - clean bright and airy with skylight window, cooling fan and the bed (twin beds) was comfortable. The bathroom is very well appointed. The staff were also very helpful and friendly and there was a real good positive vibe about the place. And I would definitely stay here again in the future.
There was nothing that I didn’t like. I was only staying one night and because I had to catch an early train the next morning I didn’t get to try breakfast although I’m sure it’s very good.

The staff were super helpful with our bike storage. The breakfast was exactly what we needed. The four of us all agreed we would stay there again. The hostel was in a perfect place for food and drink in Alkmaar. Excellent!
