Secluded on two acres of lush Mediterreanean land, this villa in the hills of Camaiore offers the best of both worlds. Peaceful where it sits among olive groves and sequoias, swimming pool, terrace, and sprawling garden included, it also allows for a quick escape to the hustle of cities like Lucca, Pisa and Florence. The house and interior is what you'd expect from an older home, and though it might not be to everyone's taste, it's comfortable and adds plenty of traditional character. Home truths: *The home is spread across three floors, but there's a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom for those with reduced mobility. *Though there is a shallow side, little ones should be supervised around the unfenced swimming pool – available between 1st May and 1st November – at all times. *We suggest hiring a car for ease – there's parking space for up to ten cars here. *You won't find a welcome hamper or basic essentials here, so we'd recommend packing some bits and bobs to get you started. The nearest supermarket is one kilometre away. *Your host can provide a cot and high chair upon request. *Well-behaved dogs are welcome to accompany you during your stay, upon request. *Parties are strictly not allowed at this home.
