Cactus Hotel Skudai

We booked triple room with window, but we got the room without window. The staff said we didn't mention the request, but we booked the room because we saw the picture triple room with window. We didn't know must state the request in the booking. The room is not clean, the cement of the floor was broken, the wall is not well painted and got dirty. One of the light was not working and the staff said too high she cannot changed. They should check properly the room before customer stay in. She said this is budget hotel, I don't why Agoda platform rating is 5 star hotel. The toilet is made with glass and is transparency, not convenience for us if we shower in the bathroom because person outside the bathroom can see inside.

Its a good place to stay, so comfortable and nice place. Also got a cheaper rate compared to other gym.🫶🏻

The hotel is quite basic and suitable if you’re looking for a budget stay. The location is good, with a nice restaurant right in front and a masjid nearby. The surrounding area is more of a workshop/industrial area, so don’t expect a typical tourist or hotel atmosphere. The room only has a shower inside, while the toilet is shared with other guests and located outside. The shower partition is not properly enclosed, so cold air from the air conditioner comes in. I had to switch off the air conditioner while showering because it was too cold. There was also a power outage during my stay that lasted around two hours, which was inconvenient. For late check-in, I had informed the hotel that my flight was scheduled to land in Johor at around 10:15 PM. The receptionist told me to arrive before 11 PM. Luckily, my flight landed earlier at around 9:40 PM, so I managed to reach the hotel before 11. I’m not sure what would have happened if my flight had arrived later, so I would recommend confirming the late check-in arrangement in advance. Overall, it’s a very basic budget hotel with a good location, but there are some facilities and service arrangements that could be improved.

Terkejut bila naik tangga bau rokok kuat gila. Masih hudznuzon dalam bilik okay tapi tidak ya. Sebabkan bau rokok dekat luar kuat bila masuk bilik rasa macam okay. tapi bila duduk lama-lama dalam bilik sampai sakit tekak sebab sebenarnya bau rokok tu kuat jugak. Dah complain kat receptionist dia kata bilik saya non smoking room tapi bayangkanlah kuat bau rokok kat luar sampai masuk bilik kuat gila. Bila waktu malam kurang sikit tapi munculnya pagi, baru bangun tidur dah berperang dengan bau rokok sumpah spoil. worst hotel ever yang paling teruk setakat ni. Saya agak menyesal walaupun murah tapi tidak berbau rokok adalah bare minimum.
