The bed in the main bedroom creaks when you move! Also could do with being a king size bed. Shame the bathroom is downstairs but you expect that with terrace houses

Great little house for a weekend away

Superb communication with the host who was on hand with any help or information needed. On the edge of all the amenities with everything you could need for a weekend break away with friends.

It was a nice house and close to where I wanted to be but disappointed about the travel cot.

There was no breakfast as it was self catering

I ordered a travel cot for my eight month old grandson. There was no travel cot so I tried to contact the owner by email, phone and text. I was told that next day someone would drop off another cot from one of the other properties but no one came. I did not bother trying to contact them again as it was such a hassle. My grandson had to sleep in a bed with pillows around him to keep him safe and my daughter had to keep checking on him during the night.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house is fabulous, dog friendly and plenty of space, and just a short walk into town or the seafront. Great communication from Raymond from booking to departure, and we appreciated being able to access the house a bit earlier than planned.

Tynemouth Village is lovely location, easy to access places to visit. Lovely walking along coast. Very relaxing break.

Good location. Nice neighbourhood. Tv & WiFi good. Modern decoration. Kitchen well equipped, had dishwasher & washing machine (didn’t use them). Provided milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, box of chocolates & mini millionaire shortbread. Towels were good quality. Beds & pillows were comfortable

My friends and I spent one night in Edith Haven. It's a beautiful house that has clearly recently been renovated to a very high standard. It's a very convenient location near the centre of Tynemouth and the metro. Would definitely recommend and would return in the future.

The location is ideal for exploring everything Tynemouth has to offer, within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the beaches. Edith Haven is an excellent holiday home, tastefully decorated, clean and spacious enough for our party of four. A few welcome treats from the owner Raymond was a lovely touch too.

Lovely house - newly refurbished throughout and enough space for a family of 6. Great location with parking right outside. Easy walk to beach/town. Tynemouth is beautiful, very friendly and super relaxed vibe.

No negatives, but a big saucepan and vegetable peeler would be good additions to the kitchen.

Wonderful stay.

With family in the area, we are always looking for Tynemouth accommodation and Edith Haven was a real “ find”. Excellent location for us, just minutes away from family. A quiet road, easy parking and friendly neighbours. The house itself was spotlessly clean, neat and seemed ‘ brand new’. Our host Raymond was extremely helpful when we contacted him, and the generous welcome package was a most pleasant ‘ extra’. Everything you need for a relaxing stay is there . Our visit was too short and we would have liked to stay longer. We plan on going back later this year.

We stayed at Edith haven for three nights and we loved every minute of it.. Accommodation is very clean and well equipped. Lots of room for a family of four. Walking distance to Tynemouth village and beach. We also found a great park not to far from our accommodation.. We will most certainly be booking again soon
