Magnifique Studio sur le Port de Gruissan (2 à 4 pers)

Location was beautiful, right on the harbour. There is a lift to the room. It is only a 1 room apartment, the bed is a sofa bed in the living room, with bunk beds situated in a hall way. There was only the 2 of us, so it never mattered. Apart from howling wind, it is super quiet as no traffic. The taps in shower are the wrong way around blue is hot and red is cold. There is a hairdryer, kettle, small hob and fridge. A supermarket is just around the corner for us fussy eaters. We got a number 8 bus from Narbonne train station (leave the station and cross the crossing on the right side, there is a garage and bike hire where you can pay €1.20 and get on no 8 bus). If you get off at Gruissan Casino then wait for another number 8 bus that should take you to the tourist information centre which is close by to the apartment. Beautiful place, lots to see and do.

No toilet rolls, or towels provided. There is a very large steep bridge to cross to access the building. We walked past the entrance 2 times as it wasn't clearly marked with block C until you are actually inside the access door. No Internet information to hand on arrival, but quickly sorted once in contact with owners.

La situation est le principal atout du logement : il est idéalement situé en plein centre, ce qui permet d’avoir tout à proximité et de profiter facilement des alentours. La climatisation est également un vrai plus, particulièrement appréciable en période de forte chaleur. Les échanges avec les hôtes ont été rapides.

L’arrivée a été un peu compliquée , pas super facile à trouver et manque d’indications. À notre arrivée, le studio n’était malheureusement pas très propre : vitres sales, terrasse non nettoyée, coussins très tachés, vaisselle pas toujours propre… Heureusement, après notre signalement, une femme de ménage est venue le lendemain, mais cela reste contraignant lorsque l’on arrive pour commencer ses vacances. Nous avons également rencontré un problème important d’odeurs liées aux canalisations : une mauvaise odeur persistante était présente dans l’appartement durant tout notre séjour. Le Wi-Fi n’était pas disponible à notre arrivée car la box était cachée sous un lit, nous avons dû contacter les hôtes pour la trouver. Cela aurait dû être vérifié avant notre arrivée. Concernant l’équipement, il manque plusieurs éléments pour un séjour d’une semaine : peu de verres, peu d’ustensiles de cuisine, aet peu d’espace de rangement. La climatisation est appréciable mais son emplacement face au lit rend son utilisation la nuit moins confortable. Dans l’ensemble, malgré une très bonne localisation et des hôtes disponibles, nous avons été déçus par l’état général du logement et certains manquements qui auraient pu être facilement évités.
