About this house rental
PLEASE NOTE: from June 1 to September 30, rentals must be per full week, from Saturday to Saturday.
Our very pleasant and quiet house will welcome you in a residential enclosure. It is located on the heights between Gruissan-Port and Gruissan-Village. Direct access to the Pech des Moulins (protected area) will take you in a few minutes via a path to the picturesque old village which surrounds the legendary pirate barberousse tower. You will pass near the superb orientation table and the open-air museum recalling the various local trades of yesteryear. You will find several welcoming shops and restaurants there. A market takes place there three times a week. Another path, starting from the garden gate, will take you to the marina with its many sailboats, shops, bars, restaurants, etc. If you like hiking, the Massif de la Clape is waiting for you. You will have the opportunity to have breathtaking views of the ponds, with its flamingos, the sea in the distance or the old village. You can also organize picnics in the shade of the pines. Large cycle paths have recently been designed. You can hire bikes. The resort is also very famous for windsurfing. Beginners will be able to follow courses on the Mateille lake. You can also rent boards, canoes, paddle, etc. The most emancipated will be able to launch out directly on the sea from the immense wild beach. The new fashionable sport "kite surfing" has become a priority and there is also the possibility of taking lessons. If you simply prefer to bask in the sun, Gruissan has several large supervised sandy beaches. Dogs are allowed at no extra charge, but than is the cleaning, by the reception firm, a obligation.
Access by plane (airport in Carcassonne), by train (station in Narbonne) or by car (Languedoc highway). Professional agent for reception. Sheets and towels can be hired on request when booking.

ELECTRICITY. 100 kWh/week are included in the price. Extra consumption will be paid according with the marketprice (0,18 EUR pro kWh in Feb 2022) . This is instituted because actual consumption varies greatly depending on behavior and the number of people and thus does not penalize couples and/or thrifty tenants.
RENTAL GUARANTEE : 250 EUR. This will be refundable at the end of the stay, when the keys are returned and the house has been restored). Cleaning at the end of the stay is recommended and is to ask on arrival by the reception firm and to be paid directly to the latter.

Lovely holiday home in a fantastic location - walk out of the gate onto the Garrigue & look at the Marina, walk less than 5 minutes for fantastic views of old Gruissan, the salt flats & the Med.
Very well equipped house, lovely outdoor area with garden furniture, totally secure for pets.

The location is great - in walking distance of the old town, the port and a great area at the back of the house to walk the dogs. Well equipped house, had what you need. Garden is a good space. Would stay there again.

Perfect for us, we only used the downstairs, so would be plenty of room for a family as well with 2 bedrooms & extra bathroom upstairs! Equipped with everything we needed. Lovely sunny, secure garden safe for dogs. Location fantastic! Straight out of the property onto the garrigue with 360 views - beautiful!

Nice place, fully equipt Fast Internet. Good outside Yard for dog. Good Walking area behind the house, close for an walk into new, or old town. A bit away from the beach. Outside Barbecue. Good sleeping bed in master room. Upatsairs a bit small, ok for just to Sleep inside. We liked it. Also good contact with owner!!
