Koukias Village

Just returned from a lovely stay at Koukias Village. Set in a perfect location close to good restaurants and bars. Only two minutes walk to bus stop 18 and ten minutes walk to beautiful Troulos Beach. The bar area is lovely and there is a further attractive seating area under the trees opposite. Amazing pool with many loungers and umbrellas provided, Kostas the owner was very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Amiable and kind host. All staff were friendly and helpful. Village is set in pretty gardens.Our apartment was very spacious and had beautiful countryside views over farmland and we saw chickens and a donkey also glimpse of sea view from our very large balcony. Koukias Village is spotlessly clean. Ladies changed our linen and towels frequently with a smile. Already thinking about booking for next year Highly recommend.

Die Unterkunft befand sich in einem Areal mit einigen anderen Ferienwohnungen und Apartements. Die Lage war gut - mit dem Auto etwa 15-20 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt. Strände waren gut zu erreichen, entweder mit Bus oder Fahrzeug, zu Fuß eher mühsam. Im Areal ist ein schöner Pool mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen. Unser Apartment mit Wohnzimmer, zwei Schlafzimmern, Kochnische und Bad war großzügig angelegt. Auch war ein großer überdachter Balkon vorhanden.

Enttäuscht hat uns allerdings die sehr sparsam und auf niedrigem Niveau eingerichtete und ausgestattete Küche. Zukünftigen Nutzern empfehlen wir folgende Sachen selbst mitzubringen, da diese nicht vorhanden waren: Salatbesteck, Salatschüssel, Kochlöffel, Gewürze, Salz, Zucker, Spülmittel. Vielen Ferienwohnungen dieses Preisniveaus auf vielen anderen griechischen Inseln, die wir besucht haben, sind heute auch Kaffeemaschinen und Geschirrspüler vorhanden, was wir uns eigentlich gewünscht hätten. Das Preisniveau für das Apartment war aus unserer Sicht nicht gerechtfertigt.

Not on the breakfast menu, but we asked for and got, fabulous greek yoghurt, fruit, nuts and honey, really delicious. the daytime music around the pool bar and pool, was very chilled out and relaxing. It was more greek and loud for the various fun events that went on in the evenings. All the grounds were very well looked after, and pathways very clean and safe to walk on. Our room (2 bedroom apartment) was very spacious, great air conditioning & money safe (included) , hairdryer, good shower with no clingy curtain !!! FABULOUS COMFY BEDS!!!Great cleaning ladies, who looked after us. In fact all the staff were lovely. Had a wonderful holiday!

Nothing much really. - the pool was getting a bit grimy around the edges ( sun tan lotion I suppose) but I expect that is seen to regularly.- we were there 11 nights,no complaints!!
