Le Wim' - Appart neuf proche plage et centre ville

The apartment is spacious and well laid out, with three double bedrooms, a comfortable living area and two balconies which add significantly to the guest experience. The south-facing balcony overlooking the fields was particularly pleasant on warm evenings. The property is located in a quiet modern neighbourhood bordering green space and is well positioned for exploring Wimereux, Boulogne-sur-Mer, Nausicaá and the Côte d'Opale. There was strong water pressure throughout, ample parking, plenty of electrical sockets, comfortable seating in the living room and useful shutters on the windows and balcony doors for privacy and security. Overall, the apartment felt neat, orderly and appealing.

The apartment description was confusing and it took us more than 25 minutes to locate the property on arrival. The Wi-Fi struggled throughout our stay, particularly on phones and laptops, and the password is unusually long. The upstairs toilet made intermittent flushing noises during our first night. The toilet and bathroom doors open directly into the corridor, and there is no sink in the toilet itself, meaning you need to use the bathroom sink to wash your hands after using the toilet. We found some opened food items, coffee granules and unfinished bottles left in cupboards from previous guests, and one plate had a noticeable oil mark. Some kitchen items looked worn. There is a booklet containing instructions for the appliances, television, thermostat, emergency contacts and local businesses; however, the information is provided in French. The internal stairs are steep and narrow at the bend and may be difficult for small children, elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues. A stairwell window opens directly onto the staircase. A few maintenance issues could also benefit from attention, including a broken bathroom bin, cigarette butts left on the balcony, a balcony door that we could not lock, and a west-facing balcony floor that would benefit from cleaning.
