Adorable and ideally located in seaside North Chatham, this beautifully restored 1930's Cape house is the perfect beach getaway! Completely renovated in 2015, enjoy the comfort of modern amenities with all the charm of a classic Cape home. Updated, clean and cozy, this 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath is ideal for families or a group of couples. Chatham Light, the shops and restaurants of quaint Main Street Chatham, and beaches are all just minutes away. This is a truly central and convenient location to many points of interest. You can even stroll next door to the Chatham Perk for fresh morning coffee!
From the moment you walk through the door, you will instantly feel at home here. The cottage is very clean and cozy, tastefully decorated with new furnishings and beachy decor. Natural light is abundant, and the space feels very light and pleasant. There is a washer and dryer on the first floor for your convenience, and all linens are included so you will have fresh sheets and towels when you arrive. The bright and open kitchen has a farmhouse sink, butcher block countertops, new stainless steel appliances and is well-stocked with all the essentials. There is a breakfast bar that looks into the living room, and a dining nook with seating for 6.
From the kitchen, enter into the cozy and inviting living room. There is a comfy sectional sofa (which converts into a sleeper sofa for 2), gas stove and 42" TV with cable and Apple Box. A door opens onto the front porch, which is the perfect spot to enjoy afternoon drinks and snacks or just a quiet moment after a day at the beach. The yard is professionally landscaped and well-maintained, with a large, green lawn and beautiful plantings. Rinse off after the beach in the fully enclosed outdoor shower, privately located in the backyard.
A full bathroom with tub and shower, queen bedroom and sitting area are also on this level. Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms - queen and two twins - and a half bath. The upstairs queen bedroom has cable TV and is very spacious. The twin bedroom is cozy and features a reading nook and cabinet full of kids' books and games. All bedrooms are outfitted with window AC units, and there are portable fans as well.
