About this house rental
Welcome to our beautiful vacation home, “Flörkes,” located just 400 meters from the sea. It features a gorgeous, fully fenced garden spanning 700 square meters. It has been awarded four stars by the DTV. For you, this means our vacation rental offers high-quality amenities and a high level of comfort. The spacious, bright, welcoming, and family-friendly atmosphere guarantees a relaxing vacation with children. You’re also welcome to bring 1–2 medium-sized dogs; we charge €12 per night for each dog. (A second dog is permitted upon prior request/arrangement.)
The old customs house was built in 1938 and has retained its charm and historic character. A welcoming atmosphere guarantees a relaxing vacation, as the house is spacious and family-friendly.
It’s ideal for family vacations, multi-generational getaways, or—in combination with our “Altes Zollamt” (the other half of the house)—for larger family gatherings or stays with other families.
Our semi-detached house (105 sqm) has been extensively renovated and is comfortably furnished.
The house can accommodate 6 adults and up to 3 children, including 2 infants (in a travel crib). There are 3 large bedrooms, each equipped with a large double bed (180 x 200), and 1 small children’s room (1 bed, 90 x 190 cm). Two of the bedrooms can each accommodate one travel crib.
The 700-square-meter fenced-in garden is available for your exclusive use. It features seating areas, tables with comfortable garden chairs, a grill, a beach umbrella, lounge chairs, a beach chair, and a double swing for the children.
The short walk to the bakery and supermarket, a stroll through the nearby recreational forest, or the bike rental shop with an ice cream vendor 100 meters further down the road round out the vacation. The beach is only about 400 meters away.
Ground Floor: The living room features a comfortable sofa set and side tables, an additional sofa, extra seating, a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, and a stereo system.
The large, fully equipped kitchen (with a pantry) features a large dining table and comfortable chairs and is equipped with a sink, stove/ceramic cooktop, oven, range hood, fridge-freezer combo, microwave, coffee maker, pod coffee machine, toaster, and electric kettle. A high chair and a TripTrap for younger guests can be provided.
From the kitchen, a back door leads directly into the garden. The large bedroom on the first floor has a large, comfortable double bed, nightstands, reading lamps, a desk, comfortable chairs, a dresser, and a closet, and can be completely darkened. The beautiful, naturally lit bathroom on the first floor is equipped with a toilet, sink, and walk-in shower.
First Floor: A bright, spacious hallway with seating welcomes you. From here, you can access the second naturally lit bathroom, which features a shower with a bench, a toilet, and a sink. The other bedrooms: The second bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed, nightstands, reading lamps, a full-length mirrored wardrobe, a dresser, and a sofa, and can be completely darkened. In the third beautiful, spacious bedroom, you’ll find a large, comfortable double bed, nightstands, reading lamps, an armchair, a two-seater sofa, a desk, and a wardrobe. The fourth room is the children’s room, featuring a slightly smaller bed measuring 190 x 90 cm. A travel crib, high chair, TripTrap, and changing table are available upon request.
The washing machine (additional charge), dryer (additional charge), iron, and ironing board are located in the basement. A handcart is available for use.
Two parking spaces are located right next to the house. The house has Wi-Fi. This is a free additional service for emailing and browsing the web. Enjoy carefree days in our house with its large garden and location near the beach. Rest and relaxation await you in the seaside resort of Kellenhusen in the Baltic Sea vacation region!
