Sparrow’s Nest features a large backyard with plenty of space to relax and play, including a deck, 7-person hot tub, fire pit, and BBQ grill. Arrowhead Lake is a private, gated community managed by the HOA. In addition to your reservation fees through VRBO, etc., you must pay the following fees:
1. Temporary Membership (age 6 and over):
⇢ In-season (May 24, 2024 through September 2, 2024 bookings): $8.50 per night/per person or $42.50 per week/per person
⇢ Off-season: $2.00 daily per night/per person
2. Gate Card Fee: $20 per vehicle
3. Transaction Fee per Rental: $20
FOR EXAMPLE: If you have 4 guests over 6 years old, staying for 2 nights IN-SEASON, and bringing 2 vehicles, the cost would be:
1. Temporary Membership: $68
2. Gate Card Fee: $40
3. Transaction Fee per Rental: $20

We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable to accommodate them. If we find an unauthorized pet in the house, we will ask for it to be removed immediately and charge an additional Non-Refundable fee of $500, and in some cases, it can be up to $1,000.
★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Please refrain from smoking inside the home! If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay $200.00 / per day.
★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS/FIREWORKS ★
Please treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.
Quiet hours for the property are between 10 PM and 8:00 AM. Please keep the noise levels down over this time.

Very quiet location. House was clean and roomy. Hot tub was good. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. Shower in upstairs bedroom make a noise when you use it. Kitchen sink kept dripping. AC was not working very well which made the first floor bedroom very hot.

Group of friends all stayed for the weekend and we were impressed by the tidy and cleanliness. The bed linens were hotel style and clean. The shower towels were neatly rolled and toilet paper stamped by a clearly professional cleaning service that had come through.Had very few “issues” such as a leaky faucet etc I made the host aware but had no impact on our stay. Host was very responsive and appreciative of all feedback.Definitely recommend.

We had a great time at your property, however there were a number of things that we were disappointed in given the price we paid for a two night stay (& the check in/out times). Other potential renters should be aware of the below items.Items that were poor quality/problematic: --The outdoor table on the deck is very unstable and wobbly. -- The foosball table in the basement is very unstable. We were afraid to play it because we didn't want it to crumble on our stay. -- The AC unit was not cooling the place down. The basement was really cool but the main level and loft were not on night one. By the time we left, it was cooler in there but that is most likely because it was 40 degrees outside & we had windows open. -- The loft shower/tub did not work as expected. The shower barely had a steam to stand under and the tub did not plug to take a bath. -- The basement toilet was bubbling. The first time it was used, there was water all over the inside lid and was very discolored/stained. It works fine, but was concerning. --There is no outdoor lighting for night time hot tub usage.Items that were damaged upon arrival:-- The outdoor furniture (couch) cover was ripped.-- There was a blown bulb in one of the lamps in full bed main level bedroom. We left the blown bulb on the night stand. -- The Keurig machine spits water out of the front when brewing. -- The kitchen faucet drips.-- The lounge chair on the patio is broken.
