Perfect for large groups

We had a great time in the house. We loved the garden and poolarea very much. It was very nice that the tramstation was only a 5-minute walk away.

Excellent property - good location with walking distance to most amenities (supermarket, bars, cafes and restaurants)
Especially loved the outside areas which are great - pool is excellent as is the bbq area and volleyball!

We had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The host Maria was fantastic and incredibly helpful with communication both before and during the stay. The pool is really huge and fantastic but is deep all the way through so might not be good for children or less confident swimmers. The garden is paradise! There’s a good amount of shade as well as sunny spots. The bbq area is fantastic. The charming and eclectic decor is fun to discover and entirely unique.
There is a lot of space inside the villa and more than enough bathrooms. The beds themselves are not luxurious (the mattresses are thin and there are a lot of bunk beds which can be a bit of a challenge for adults) but it provides all the basic things you need and we spent nearly all of our time enjoying the outside!
It’s easy to get to from the airport, and the tram stop is VERY close which can take you to the beach in 5 mins (or you can walk for about 30 mins) or into the centre of Alicante. Some nice restaurants and bars within a short stroll too.
We really enjoyed the privacy and safety of the property which helped us all get an even tan ;) As an LGBT group we felt incredibly welcome - and the host even helped us find the best local gay bars!
We look forward to returning to La Gran Duquessa in the future!
