We had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated the care and attention of our host. She was extremely kind, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was high quality, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared, and the warmth in the room was perfect — especially important after long days on the ski slopes. As property owners ourselves on Booking, we truly appreciate the same high standards and quality. Everything here reflected that level of care: from the furniture and equipment to the smallest details, all chosen with taste and quality in mind. A flawless stay in the heart of the Alps, stunning views, and exceptional hospitality.

We rented an apartment at Vordergugg Hotel and had an absolutely perfect stay. The apartment was immaculately clean—truly the cleanest I’ve ever experienced. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, making it feel just like home. Kirsten was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The location is fantastic—nestled in the Alps, surrounded by stunning mountain and valley scenery. You can really feel the nature all around you. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and ideal for anyone looking to relax or explore the outdoors. Everything was just right. Highly recommended!

The EV Charging station is out of order but Kirsten took the action to call the electrician to fix the issue. There are also other charging stations in the town but make sure you have enough charge during cold weather in case Hotel's EV station is out of order. Please be cautious at the apartment entrance. During check-out, my mother-in-law tripped over the door threshold and fell. Fortunately, she only suffered minor bruises. The level difference between the apartment entrance and the building floor could pose a tripping hazard, especially when stepping out. It’s something to be mindful of.

Noticed in some of the reviews that someone called this hotel a 5-star one - totally agree! This family hotel is perfect in everything: 1) the location - up in the mountains, no other buildings in the neighborhood, quiet 2) the view: don’t worry to get the room with better or worse view - each side of the hotel has a great view 3) the hosts: we felt like visiting our family 4) the breakfast - fresh local food, the host told us we are free to make some sandwiches for take away after breakfast, that was really nice 5) the nature around: the air in the morning is very fresh, during the day it has some slight smell of cowshed - but believe me, that suits the atmosphere so good!

We enjoyed very much staying at Vordergugg owned by a lovely young couple. We received a beautiful spacious room. clean, contemporary furnished in Scandinavian style. We learned from the owner that all the excellent carpentry was done by him. From the terrace and the balcony there is a stunning view of the valley and of the mountain on the other side. The place and the view instill beauty, calmness and peace for those who are looking for it. The breakfast is rich and delicious. The lovely owner of the place Kerstin took care of our every request. The location is close by to some of the main attractions in the area.

Nice weekend on beautiful place

The property is located in a calm place on small hill above Mittersill with beautiful view on valley. Outside there is enough place for parking, there is table tennis outside, the bikes can be stored in basement. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The personal was very nice and helpful - we had a great time here and we strongly reccommend this place!

Very nice family apartment house and farmhouse, above the city of Mittersill with great view. New modern and fully equipped apartment, spacy and perfect clean, nice wooden sauna. Skvělé, vynikající a milí hostitelé, doporučuji!

Velmi příjemní a ochotní hostitelé, skvělá a velká snídaně, lyžárna, sušení lyžáků přes noc. Pro momentální nefunkčnost nabíječky EV nás upgradovali do apartmánu, aniž jsme o cokoli žádali. Prostě vynikající ubytování u skvělých lidí. Můžeme jen doporučit!

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht und kommen sehr gern wieder.

Die Lage des Bauernhofs ist etwas außerhalb / oberhalb der Ortschaft (zu Fuß 10-15min zur Ortsmitte). Die Lage ist optimal um mit dem Auto zu täglichen Ausflügen zu starten oder zu Fuß Wanderungen zu unternehmen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und während unseres Aufenthaltes jederzeit mit Informationen und netten Gesprächen umsorgt. Das Zimmer war für uns als dreiköpfige Familie schön eingerichtet und hatte eine ansprechende Größe. Besonders positiv ist uns die Sauberkeit im ganzen Haus aufgefallen. Jeden morgen gab es einen Zimmerservice. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und für jeden Geschmack unserer Familie war etwas passendes dabei.

المكان راقي للأمانه ، إطلاله خرافيه جدًا اخذت غرفتين وصاله مع بلكونه خاصه كانت بالدور الثالث مطله على المدينه والجبال ، هدوء واستكنان ، ترحيب من صاحبة الكوخ ، وصلت 12 بالليل وهي تنتظرنا وجا زوجها وطلعو الشناط ما قصرو ، عندهم فطور على الطلب يمدحونه بس ما جربته في ، عندهم مغسله ملابس مشتركه ، المكان حول الكوخ لحاله يسوى السعر وزياده ، في ماء ينبع من النهر للشرب مجانا تقدر تعبي منه مويتك وتوفر فلوسك ، المطبخ متكامل من كل شي ، الكوخ مرتفع وجوه حلو والطريق له رهيب

الصراحه كانو يشتغلون في كوخ جانبي فتره الصباح ف ازعاج نوعا ما إذا كنت نايم ، في بعوض خفيف في الليل اذا فتحت البلكونه واتوقع هذا الشي في معظم الأكواخ بحكم الطبيعه من حولها ف ما يعتبر عيب هذا
