Mittersill offers a wide range of summer activities and benefits from its central location. The immediate area is ideal for hiking and mountain sports, and an 18-hole golf course is nearby. Explore the region by bike along the Tauern Cycle Path. For a refreshing swim, visit the nearby Hollersbach bathing lake.



In winter, enjoy skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, or ski touring in the renowned Kitzbühel ski area. The lifts are easily accessible via the free ski bus and train. Tobogganing, snowshoeing, and horse-drawn sleigh rides are available throughout the region, including Europe’s longest natural toboggan run.
