As many reviewers have said the cottage is close to the pier and shops. There is a Tesco, and a nice pub the Crown and Anchor, the Hippodrome Theatre and an ice cream shop very close. We walked to the bandstand, the Towner gallery and the Devonshire Park Theatre. The property had 2 nice size bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen diner was a good size too. A repair was dealt with quickly.
The picture advertising this property on booking.com is actually the much nicer looking house next door. The cottage, by contrast has no kerb appeal, it is a bit scruffy, unswept and needs weeding. The cottage needs a deep clean. The small sitting room could do with a suitable L shaped sofa rather than 2 large 2 seater sofas which don’t fit.

The location was great.
The house needs a bit of work doing to it, the advert states gas central heating but actually it’s electric heaters in each room.

Great location
Property could do with some tlc.
Floors downstairs could do with a good clean, we had a toddler with us, running around with bare feet, his feet were black with dirt.
En-suit shower drain is blocked, and the waste trap in the sink is jammed shut.
