    I found this hostel last year and try to use it whenever I am in Saigon. It is just good value for money, has nice beds with working AC, and the bathrooms are decent. The staff here have always been so nice and helpful, as well as many of the travelers here. Always recommend base backpackers!

    The female only dorm has an awful strong odour. I told the front desk and they brought spray that was prepared to be used so they are aware. I had to shower as soon as I left as my hair stank! We were woken up at 8am to very loud music and voices from the cafe downstairs. I also was kept awake until 12am when the cafe shut. Avoid.
