Lovely place, but don't forget to notice check in/check out times
Lovely space, lots of windows and nice light. Beautiful Burns Park neighborhood. I never saw or interacted with the hosts or any other humans. Was sent a password code to get access to my stairwell, and a parking pass was waiting for me on the table in my room. All worked well.
I'm unlikely to stay here again and here's why. The allowed check in time was later than usual combined with a check out time that was earlier than usual (10 AM). The bot that was managing this booking then offered to sell me "extra time at the rate of $25 per hour." This struck me as irksomely rapacious, and resulted in scrapping my plans for a nice neighborhood breakfast on the departure morning. Make sure you are aware of the check in/check out times before booking!

Was clean and tidy, well equipped and comfortable.
1. The path from the car was very dark at night - we had difficulty seeing the deck step. 2. Even though the outside temps were in the 50s, the heating was disabled so temperatures inside were 66-68 and not adjustable. 3. A clear house number would have made it easier to find the correct house at night. 4. Front door could use some paint!

Wonderful short stay.
Peaceful atmosphere in a green neighborhood. Spacious studio. Freshly painted and up to date furnishings. Kitchenette set up is practical for short stay where you just need basics.
Was not clear that this is a studio apartment, no separate bedroom. Desk work area is limited. No direct contact with owners/managers to get quick answers to questions. Lots of time figuring out how climate control and door lock worked.

Spacious apartment in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood minutes from U. of Michigan and downtown.
Lovely, spacious, over-the-garage apartment with lots of windows in a stunningly beautiful neighborhood. Very affordable compared to Ann Arbor hotel prices. Great place to walk, enjoy Burns Park; very close to U. of Michigan and all that downtown Ann Arbor has to offer. Apartment is decorated tastefully and has everything you need: queen bed, sofa for relaxing, small table for dining or working, bathroom with great shower, basic kitchen things - microwave, coffee maker, small fridge, etc. Note that there is NOT an oven or cooktop. Keyless entry worked fine.
The Booking.com / Mitten communication process - multiple steps - was a hassle. The bed was not horrible, but could definitely use an upgrade. Apartment seemed quite clean, but the shower floor could use bleach or some other treatment.

Peaceful stay in Ann Arbor Cottage House.
Beautiful accommodations in a quiet beautiful neighborhood. Walkable to downtown Ann Arbor. Very clean, easy check in and comfortable bed. So much nicer than a hotel.
Everything was very nice.
