On Esplanade own flat & Pool, 2 kms to Manly cafe precinct

Self contained property - everything that we needed for our stay - close to Lota railway station.

We thought it was going to be nearer the restaurants etc in Manly. I think the description Manly Cafe precinct gives the impression that the property was within a entertainment complex

Great Location very comfortable and clean

Everything. Home away from home really. Comfortable all around. Pool was great even if it rained the whole time we were there. 🤣 more than ample cooking equipment. Everything was great. Owners were lovely.

Nothing, well.... the rain.

It was easy to find, easy to access, the owners were wonderful to communicate with, it was a nice stay overall. The fridge and cupboards were nicely stocked with some complimentary basics. Kitchen and bathroom are very neat and clean. The vintage furniture was divine and it was nicely decorated too. Some quirky decorative pieces were a fun addition, they're little things but clever to have there. We weren't there through the day so I'm not sure what all the amenities were like but it was an enjoyable, quiet, calming place to stay. Very central to where we were visiting so that was good also. I wouldn't stay there again due to the bed not being comfortable to me, however I would recommend the place to others, the only negatives I had could just be a highly personal preference. Jim asked for honest feedback, they seem very happy to do what they can to make everyone's stay a pleasant one and they're open to hear it. Which is what you want when booking places like this. Sylvia and Jim are 10/10.

The main bed was very uncomfortable, my ribs were sore in the morning from how firm it was, as was my neck from the pillows. The bedding overall was unpleasant to sleep in but very clean and fresh. There's no exhaust fan in the bathroom which made it rather foggy and that was problematic for trying to get ready for the day. I can't fault the owners for this but there were ants in the kitchen however they were coming inside away from the rains not little ants looking for food. I also noticed the lack of hangers for skirts/trousers which caused my clothes to get creases. Not everything is going to be to everyone's liking, however I'll always give an honest review from my own perspective.
