Peaceful 2 BDR 1 BA retreat. Walking distance to the beach.

Mark was quick with communication, and accommodating to some special requests. It’s a wonderful place to stay, and we hope to return in the future.

Tucked away in the small, unincorporated community of La Selva Beach, this 2.5-acre property offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural habitat. Deer grazing in the distance and sightings of beautiful owls added to the magic of the setting, while ocean views and easy access to Manresa State Beach made for a truly restorative stay for the mind, body, and soul. Exceptional hosts, a quiet and private space, and all the amenities you need make this slice of Northern California coastal paradise easy to recommend. 15 out of 10!

We spent a lovely weekend here and highly recommended. The place is very clean and well appointed. We stayed with our pet and were within walking distance to the beach. Every other dog there was on a leash and well behaved. The beach is semi-secluded so very few people as well. Lovely time spent there. Communication with host was direct and answers were timely. Would definitely visit again!

We have stayed at this location many times and we always have a blast! The location is perfect and incredibly peaceful. You are sure to see deer, rabbits, lots of lizards, and beautiful vegetation. The beach is a short hike that is just over a half mile through the campground. Capitola is about 20 minutes away and the Monterey Aquarium is about 40 minutes away. Mark and Lisa are AMAZING hosts and they think of everything you might need. There are bath and batch towels, shampoo, conditioner, and even a bar of soap! In the kitchen there are many spices, a Keurig with coffee pods and creamer, ketchup, mustard, water, ice, and a stick of butter! Which was great because I forgot butter at the store. Mark responds quickly to texts and always ensures we have everything we need and a wonderful stay. We can’t wait to come back soon!
