If you are looking for a relaxing little bit of paradise where you can enjoy boating, surfing, and swimming, you have found the perfect vacation spot! ParadiSea is newly furnished as the perfect hub from which to rest and enjoy spending family-time, while also taking in the sights and smells of the ocean, the Intracoastal Waterway, and nearby historic attractions in the Old City of St. Augustine. Spend lazy days around the private pool while watching the wildlife or boats on the river. Bring your own boat and dock it right at the home and enjoy daily outings fishing, swimming at the nearby Matanzas Inlet, or cruising down to the Old City. Spend the afternoon at the beach, just one mile to a neighborhood private access point, or a one mile ride to drive on access. Spend fun family-time at the house playing ping-pong, corn hole, having a cookout, and enjoying movie-time curled up on the large sectional in the family room.
ParadiSea has four bedrooms and two bathrooms in the main house, but also features cottage, separated from the main home by a courtyard, and outfitted with a queen bed and bathroom. The main house has a split plan, with the River View Master on one end of the home, two other bedrooms and a bathroom on the other end of the home, and a bunk room (Twin XL over Queen w/separate Twin over Twin bunk bed) separated from the other sleeping spaces, and convenient for four kids or 2-3 adults.
Nearby Endless Summer Surf Station surfing school offers surfing lessons, and board and electric bike rentals, great for riding along the beach and enjoying the sites! The area is also a fisherman's paradise and offers plenty of variety between surf fishing and river fishing. Frank Butler Park is adjacent to the neighborhood and has a boat ramp, floating dock, picnic tables and restrooms. Kayak, canoe, and fishing gear rentals, along with another river dock are available at nearby Genung's Fish Camp. Pizza, great seafood, Italian, and southern fare are all located within a mile of the condo. Grocery stores are located within a 10 minute drive.
Please note: Although the bunk bedframes are solid wood and can support up to 400lbs, the top bunks are ideal for youth. Please take care when entering and exiting the bunk beds to ensure the safety of your entire group.
**NOTE: The dock is in a tidal area, during low tide there is very shallow or no water under the dock
**PET POLICY: Only dogs are permitted (no cats), and must be approved by management PRIOR to booking. You must inquire through the booking platform with the number, weight, and breed to get approval before you book as some breed and size restrictions apply. A pet fee will be required upon approval.
***Note: The pool heater season is from November 1st - April 15th. Pool heat is available upon request. Pool heat must be requested 24-48 hours in advance. Please inquire for pool heat fees.
Depending on the weather conditions, the pool may not hit the set point of the heater. Please note, when night temperatures go below 50 degrees the heater cannot operate effectively. Please plan your vacation activities accordingly. No refunds are issued based on weather conditions. ***
For safety and security purposes this property is equipped with 2 cameras. One over the main garage door facing the driveway, and one attached to the upper canopy, facing the water.

Violations can result in a $500 fee. *Decibel levels are monitored at this property to abide by city and county noise ordinances.

Our group of six had a wonderful five night stay. The location was wonderful for all of the attractions and ease to the beach. The sunsets were beautiful! There were multiple activities at the house to keep our group engaged. The boys caught several fish and baby sharks off the back dock for which we purchased fishing poles. There was even an alligator sighting! Fishing was a little more challenging when the tide was out. Everyone enjoyed the pool. Free attraction tickets were much appreciated and used!
A couple of things for improvement or consideration are the following:
-For a home that sleeps 12, there were only five pool towels.
-If you plan on eating in, be prepared to buy all of the essentials normally in a kitchen. For example, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, aluminum tins for grilling, scissors, more than just the starter paper towels, dishwasher, tabs, laundry soap and trash bags. Our group also purchased a lighter for the citronella candles that were provided. Glass is not allowed at the pool, however, there are only about five plastic cups and plates available to take out side. The owner may consider purchasing more plastic cups and plates to be able to take outside around the pool.
-In reading the other reviews, the owner has upgraded the home. There was new vinyl plank flooring throughout – no carpet remaining which was nice.
-There are a few items that could use some TLC; the back sliding door does not slide very well- overtime it has been corroded with saltwater, the gravel area could be better tended from weeds and the pergola could use some upkeep.
Overall, the house was wonderful and met our needs. David was very responsive! There was a lightning storm one night, and it threw a code on the AC. David’s maintenance team was out within 15 minutes of the call and verified that it had reset. This was important considering the week we stayed was in the mid to high 90s all week.
The cottage was perfect for our college student. Provided privacy and separate quarters. The curtain that provided privacy for the bathroom was not hanging. Someone had shoved it in one of the basket drawers.
We enjoyed our stay and overall give this place a 4/5.

We had a wonderful family vacation at ParidiSEA! The home is in a great residential location with beautiful water views and pool. We needed to drive to anything we wanted to do (beach, shops, restaurants, grocery store) but trips out were quick and easy. The cottage was an added bonus and allowed us the space we needed for our large family. It truly was the best week and we are looking forward to returning!

We were very disappointed in the condition of the house. For the price that we paid we all felt that the property needs some major upgrades. Dirty, stained carpets, lots of wear and tear on doors, cabinets, etc. Outdoor area was very nice and that is the reason for 3 stars and not 2.
