This is THE place to stay in Chester

Excellent base to explore Chester. The apartment is cosy, clean and well appointed, with all you need for your stay. Very central, short walking distance to all the tourist attractions, bars and restaurants. The included free safe parking is a big bonus The check in instructions supplied by Gary are very accurate and make the whole process very smooth. We highly recommend this cosy home for your stay. Also a big thank you to Gary, who is extremely prompt in answering any queries you may have.

Great break

The location was perfect for exploring Chester and it's canals. Having a well stocked kitchen allowed flexibility with our plans. Fizz and sweets were a nice surprise on arrival

Fantadtic stay in Chester in really fab apartment in great location.

Great location, car parking space was a huge bonus. Having a fan in this heat was a godsend. Gary answered every question I sent very quickly. Apartment had everything we needed and was very clean.

Only negative was freezer compartment in fridge needed defrosted so you can actually fit ice in it. Also, I would change toilet brush, but apart from that everything else was excellent.

A wonderful place to stay in Chester

The location was amazing - a short walk to the train station and to the centre of town where we spent most of our time. The place was quiet, comfortable and felt like coming home after long days of exploring. The hosts were very easy to connect with, answered all of my questions, and had nice touches in their property to help us feel more welcome and informed about the city. We'd stay here again!

Really stress free weekend staying in this apartment.

Visiting granddaughter for the weekend, excellent location (for her and the city centre) With the information and instructions (which were very detailed with photos as well!) from Gary the apartment was easily located and accessed. Apartment at the top of 3or4 short flights of stairs. Apartment is well equipped, very clean and bright, nice and comfortable. A really nice break at Gary’s apartment, who made us feel welcome with the chocolates and Prosecco.

The property was cosy, modern, clean and had more than everything we needed.

I wouldn’t say it was an issue but the only thing I can think of is that the bathroom didn’t seem to have a fan & we couldn’t open the window, but this may be something we were doing wrong!

Excellent stay In brilliant location.

Excellent location within walking distance of all attractions. Also added attraction of parking space to let us explore on foot when needed but also go further afield. Flat was lovely and bed super comfy. Could not have asked for anything more. Not a huge apartment but has everything needed and super place to stay with lots of thought to detail.

There are stairs to go up but to be expected with loft apartments but all else excellent.

Long weekend stay for family wedding.

Lovely apartment and great location with the added bonus of parking. V close to town centre with a short walk along the canal. Had everything needed to self cater. Host (Gary) left box of chocolates + a couple of small bottles of fizz in the fridge which was v welcome. Great communication throughout. Would stay again.if in the area.

On 3rd floor so a bit of a slog with heavy bag. But no complaints otherwise.

Exceptional

Excellent location, everything just a few minutes walk away yet still very quiet at night. The whole apartment is spotlessly clean & very well equipped. There was nothing we felt was missing. Comfy bed. Great shower. Loved all the Chester pictures etc around the place. And the prosecco & chocolates were a lovely touch. We would definitely return & have already recommended this to our family & friends.

The only thing I would say isn't really about the actual apartment, but the entrance hall & stairs up to the apartment. There is a musty smell as soon as you open the door and the carpets are quite grubby. I realise this is a shared building so not really any reflection on the apartment.

Great apartment & fabulous location

Great central location, quiet and within a few minutes easy walk to all amenities, strobe throw away from the canal. Nice clean modern apartment, excellent communication from host. Very easy to find and gain access. Complimentary wine, chocolate, tea/coffee & milk a very nice touch. All you need for a comfortable few days break. Would definitely recommend.

Downstairs neighbours conversation easily heard into the early hours, an old building so poor soundproofing. There are a lot of stairs so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.

Amazing!

Lovely and bright rooms, lots of space for two people and the little extras provided were great (shower stuff and kitchen).

Only thing that me and my partner was concerned about was the fact that there’s no extractor fan or door on the kitchen so didn’t want to set off the fire alarm but we opened all windows and it didn’t go off so it was absolutely fine.

Great centrally based accommodation

This apartment is really well placed to get into the centre of Chester - would use again. The area was really quiet, and considering it was the weekend a bit of an oasis in a busy city. Good reasonable/medium softness bed (I normally prefer firm mattresses but slept well. Good water pressure. Flat has nice smart TV and WIFI. Light and bright rooms throughout the day, and considering the temperature and summer storms during the weekend.. the flat was never too warm or airless. Chocolates and wine on arrival nice touch.

Had wrong number on the Booking.com receipt - resolved on the day. Shower floor noticeably slippy - floor-mat needed in shower!, showering leaves the shower room floor soaking - even when showering carefully. Fridge is tucked in the back of the cleaning cupboard. A comfy sofa in the sitting room would be good.
