Nice base for solo trip to Greater Manchester

Very friendly reception from the hostess. Easy parking, and the street was quiet. 5-minute walk to catch one of many buses into Manchester city centre and easy to get to Old Trafford. Happy to walk back after the match even though it was past 10pm.

nice host, ok price

friendly greeting and introduction. relaxed

everything was clean and comfortable enough but things like poor flooring finish, very wobbly bed headboards, thin walls so you can hear other guests. presentation of the condiments and kettles with plastic trays and an array of extension cables. this stay and price suited me well to have a location not too far for the marathon.tjere were a good number of shops and eateries within short walks.there was free WiFi.

Ok but would not stay again

Host not there to let us in which is fine but unable to get into property, rang host and she informed her son was there and would let us in.. he did eventually, was ok for an overnight stay but wouldnt stay again, shared bathroom is not ideal and the room we had was next to bathroom (which was in frequent use throughout the night) so a disturbed nights sleep

Great and affordable stay, well connected with everything in Manchester

Great connection to the center of Manchester. It takes 2 minutes to walk to the bus stop and stores. It's easy to get to Old Trafford. Lovely host who makes sure everything is nice and tidy.

Shared bathroom can sometimes be flooded by other guests.

Could have been better if hosts sons had regard for clients in the house.

A quaint homestay with a very friendly host who is informative, helpful, and made sure we were very comfortable. The room and shared bathroom were very clean and our room had all we needed.

It was alright for us with a short stay being there from 8.00pm to 9:00am.

the host is pretty friendly try to help. And the place is clean. The supply of fresh milk (for tea/coffee) in a little portable fridge is economical for the host/environment and useful for us too.

But to name the room as a Luxury Homestay is misleading. The advert should have clearly indicated that all guests in four rooms have to share one toilet/bathroom! In the morning, the busy time, one has to keep the door open to try to figure out whether the bathroom is free. On the web, it shows a kitchen, which we did not find.
