Marina Bay - Castelsardo

I liked the lockbox and that we could self-check in, and the owner/manager communicated very well. We really enjoyed the AC; in this part of the world, it is a bit of a must-have. The view from the balcony, regardless of the scaffolding, was great - I loved it. We loved the city. The castle has a beautiful view and amazing restaurants. The apartment looked quite renovated in some parts, so it was nice to stay there, and the bed was comfortable. We liked the kitchen utensils, which were quite complete.

There is a lockbox, but it is not clearly visible. A few photos with circles showing where the lockbox is and which one it is would help, as there are many. Otherwise, it was not bad at all. We got toiletries just after asking for them, so it was not an issue. However, as I wrote to the owner, I do not want, after 15 hours of traveling, to be solving something like toilet paper as my priority on vacation. I think this should be common sense. Just charge me 4 euros more for the accommodation and put the damn paper there. There was scaffolding in front of part of the balcony, which made the view worse, but I did not want to get into any argument about it. This was not communicated at all, sadly, but it was not that bad. There was, sadly, mold or something that looked very similar in the bathroom near the ceiling. A bucket of anti-mold paint and a bit of scraping could have fixed that. When we were cooking and had the AC on, the circuit breaker tripped. We had to find a neighbor to help us turn it back on, as it is outside the building. The trash policy in this part of Sardinia is unnecessarily complicated to the point that you will most likely give up and drive the trash to the only public bins on the other side of the city. Parking was a bit difficult. We would have used instructions from the property manager. There is no dedicated parking spot, and the apartment is on a steep hill, but you can park one street above. We received threats from locals for parking on the same street as the apartment, so we parked one street above.

Felújítás volt a társasházban ami egy picit zavarta a pihenést. Szezonon kívül kellene felújítani. A sütő nem működik pedig terveztük használni.

El pueblo maravilloso, el apartamento muy acogedor e ideal para 3 personas como fue nuestro caso.

El propietario, Pietro, muy amable via Whatsapp, pero poco resolutivo. Tuvimos un problema con la corriente electrica, poca potencia para soportar el aire acondicionado, y estuvimos una noche sin electricidad ya que el propietario no atendió el telefono hasta las 6:30 de la mañana siguiente, y no dejó instrucciones de como reestablecer el interruptor general de la electricidad del apartamento. El horno no funciona, y la plancha nos la hizo llegar el penultimo dia de estancia. Tubo el detalle de regalarnos una botella de vino, se agradece, pero debería cuidar los detalles mencionados anteriormente. Por contra, el servicio de atencion al cliente de booking, impecable.
