Great location for a concert at Red Rocks and getting into the city of Denver. Lovely big bed, TVs and sofa.
Yeah, the description does clearly say there are cats, but we didn’t expect to hear them scratching at the door to the private basement. We’re not cat lovers, but thought the area they were in and we had to walk through was smelly and grubby.
The description does also clearly says the accommodation is in a basement, but we didn’t like the noise from above each morning and evening as the owner moved around, chopped food, etc.
Yes, the basement was private and cosy, but it never felt like it was ours. It’s not quiet.
We’d also have appreciated a kettle and a sink downstairs for washing dishes (without taking things upstairs).
Finally, it really disappoints us that some owners still make no effort to offer recycling bins for cans, bottles, cardboard etc. It wouldn’t be difficult.

Jeff and his two adorable cats were great hosts. (The cats aren't allowed in the room, but they will happily greet you at the entrance.) The location is perfect for hikers and Red Rocks enthusiasts. The bedding and towels are among the softest I've run across in decades of traveling. The kitchenette is perfect for folks on the go, and is very well stocked for tea and coffee lovers. WIfi and TV options were good, too. Thanks, Jeff!
The only caution we can give is completely out of the owner's control. If you are a VERY light sleeper, sound travels well in the house. Otherwise, we LOVED this place, and will be back, 100%
