This isn't your typical vacation rental. Unit 43C at Ekahi Village is a thoughtfully renovated, ground-floor condo decorated in rich Hawaiiana style — Persian rugs, original Hawaiian artwork, leather sleeper sofa, antique furnishings, and a king-size bed dressed in quality linens. It feels less like a rental and more like staying in a well-loved private home that happens to be steps from one of Maui's most beautiful coastlines.
Step outside your private garden lanai — complete with a shaded dining area and reclining patio chairs — and you're already in paradise. The lush tropical grounds of Ekahi Village surround you: swaying palms, fragrant flowers, and fruit trees heavy with papayas, mangos, and bananas that are yours for the picking when ripe.

The place was clean and had good room other than where to put your clothing. The location is convenient for walking in Wailea. It was a short walk down the street to catch the walkway along the ocean through the Andaz hotel. The distance to the swimming pool and ocean within the complex is about 1/3 of a mile. The parking by the ocean side pool is restricted to people living in those units.

This beachfront condo was perfect getaway vacation. Great location, well maintained, and properly furnished. We plan to come back.

Host interaction was limited. The upstairs condos air conditioning unit kept us awake. When it was on the vibration reverberated throughout the bedroom. I did report this to a contact person. The unit was well equipped.
