令人難忘的鄉村特色早餐

We originally booked a "hotel with parking" in Genoa city which was a huge mistake... there is no parking in Genoa. So we ate the cost of that expense after an hour of fruitless driving in the city and were lucky enough to find this place available in the country. The town of Casella has everything you need in short walking distance with a gas station, mercato, barber, and several restaurants. The hosts are exceptional people and we loved spending time learning more about life in Italy.

The house is quiet with no AC. It was cool enough that heat wasn't a big issue, but a fan would have been welcome. Because the house is so quiet, outside noises are very audible. So we could hear the neighbor's TV and personal conversations through our open window and theirs, until about midnight. Lots of dogs in the area, too, so barking until at least about 10pm. This didn't ruin the experience, but it was something to consider.

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig in naturnaher Umgebung und dennoch sehr günstig, wenn man, so wie wir, abends von der Fähre von Genua kommend in Richtung Norden weiterfahren möchte. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und können uneingeschränkt in allen Kategorien 10 Punkte vergeben. Simona und Salvatore sind äußerst herzliche Gastgeber, die uns während unseres Aufenthaltes das Gefühl gegeben haben, bei Freunden zu Gast zu sein. Das Frühstück, das uns Salvatore zubereitet hat, war unschlagbar. Er hat morgens sogar noch laktosefreie Milch für uns eingekauft. Ganz lieben Dank für alles! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
