SMUGGLERS HATCH

Very Clean and Very Comfortable

Everything was incredible, from the communication by the owners, to access right through the place. Nothing to complain about

Being very picky and not a down side, kitchen could do with more light for cooking but that is personal choice and not a detrimental part.

The location was fantastic being so close to the gardens, beach and town ( 2-5 mins either way ) while being in a quiet road. The novelty factors inside were a lovely surprise. Beds all comfortable ( don’t know why bunk is listed as for children only ) and wonderful shower room. We enjoyed the outside dining area on the patio.

I went with my elderly parents who are quite mobile for their age however the steps to get up to the front door were large and so a hand rail or shallower steps would have been helpful. ( I don’t remember a clear picture of the steps before we went ) They found the key safe too difficult to manage and so an extra set of keys would have been really helpful. We would have loved more crockery and cooking utensils, we found the supply a bit too sparse which made meal prep less enjoyable with a lot more washing up despite the dishwasher being great. The duvets were all winter ones so a few lighter ones or blankets would have been apt as it was summer.

Clean, newly refurbed, comfy, well equipped, close to beach and restaurants
