Amory Aparthotel Nguyen Trai

I booked two reservations, one overnight stay in a deluxe room which had a living area plus a separate bedroom. Upon entering I noticed it was a large but older looking space. I could immediately notice that this room was not thoroughly cleaned. The toilet had a red-ish brown stain(thank God I brought my own alcohol wipes). The room felt sticky if that makes sense. Dusty and uncared for where it matters. The sheets and bedding felt very clean. The bed in this room was good. The air conditioner was not working in the living area so I had to confine myself to the bedroom area. It was hot as hades in the living room. Since I would only stay over night the staff promised a discount upon my arrival for my next reservation. Upon my return the owner changed their minds and decided to upgrade my room instead. I could move into the"best" suite with a balcony the following day. I didn't need a balcony in Saigon, I would never use it bc it's too hot. The air conditioner was slow to cool in this room as well. Thank God the room had a fan. I was able to chill under the fan. It took 24 hours to cool the room and the air conditioner kept shutting off randomly! Twice I realized it was getting hot and noticed the air had shut down. The bed was very firm in this room and the room I had stayed in the night before. There was a huge dusty hair ball in the storage closet area of the smaller room as well. I will upload the picture if the app allows it. The staff were as helpful and apologetic as they could be. I wish them well. I will not book this hotel again. If you want cool air and a clean room, look else where. I hope the property manages the cleaners they need to DEEP clean these rooms. Not just wipe them down. There is dust and stickiness and the rooms need to be thoroughly sanitized! Oh and the first night there was a nasty mattress in the hallway practically blocking my door. Unacceptable! There is a school across the street so be prepared for massive traffic twice a day!

We had a really comfortable work-and-stay experience during our three weeks at Amory Nguyen Trai. Thu and Ngan were incredibly warm and friendly, and Duyen and Tuyen were also very supportive throughout our stay. The room was spacious and clean, with fresh, nicely scented towels and bed linens changed regularly. The Wi-Fi was strong and stable, which made working there very smooth. We also appreciated the in-room amenities like the washing machine, microwave, and all the necessary kitchenware, it made our stay much more convenient. The location is excellent, right in the city center, with easy access to supermarkets, local markets, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby. We were assigned a high-floor room, so it was breezy with a great airflow when the window was open, yet still quiet and peaceful. We’d definitely love to stay here again the next time we’re back in Vietnam.

It is a nice place to stay. Location is good considering the pick up points. Please note that the hotel is located inside a small street, which won't show on google maps. Another imp point is, although you have a small kitchen available in the room, you are not allowed to cook. Overall, our stay was convinient as we would leave in the morning and will return in night, tired, just to sleep.

It has been a great experience with Amory. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional service of the staff. Location was a bit hidden but was near landmarks and easy to navigate. The room was decent and clean though there is still room for improvement on the cleanliness.
