the room is open towards the dorm, so if people are snoring you hear it quite well, also the ac was at the other half so it was a bit warm during the night but friendly staff

On the afternoon of December 24th, a hostel employee broke into my room without my permission while I was out. He said the reason was to find the air conditioner remote. I turned off the air conditioner and went out. I have traveled to many countries and stayed in both cheap and expensive hotels, but this is my first time experiencing something like this. I am so outraged. The room I used had a very strange structure with an air conditioner placed between the walls. The hostel owner turned one room into two by making cheap plastic walls. My guess is that it is clearly a structure that has not received permission from the Vietnamese authorities. Basically, it is the same structure as two people in one room. There is no soundproofing at all, and all smells and sounds are allowed to pass through.Also this hostel is incredibly filthy. There is mold growing in the shower room and bathroom, and the hostel staff doesn't seem to clean it at all. The room is full of dust and everything is kept unclean. Also, in the building right next door (I heard it was a theater where college students performed). They played music extremely loudly until 5am every night. I basically don't understand why this hostel has such a high Agoda rating. I don't understand why people don't tell the truth.
