I received a warm welcome from Alex on reception and my room was lovely, the shower felt luxurious and the bed was dreamy!

Breakfast was a very busy affair, it appeared that quantity of people was more important than quality of service. I was sandwiched on a table between others, no condiments on the table, I had to ask for sugar for my coffee and my breakfast was served on a side plate as, I overheard a man say, they had ran out of plates. I wasn’t asked at check out how my stay was otherwise I’d have raised my concern there.

The room was beautiful, stunning Palm courts with a cocktail bar. Very comfy bed and the location of the hotel is great.

The staff aren’t well informed, lack communication and informed. When we checked in, we asked the staff about the Parking location and our ticket. They said it’s right and we’re in the right spot but when we checked out, was told it was the wrong location and had a very expensive parking ticket to pay without their discount. Secondly was breakfast. We didn’t have it pre-booked and decided to go for a coffee and after sitting and seeing other people’s, we wanted to have it. There was a mix up somewhere and one of the waitress explained it to me (I didn’t full understand) and said don’t worry about it, breakfast is sorted and on us. After insisting it’s okay and we’ll pay, she said it’s our fault (the hotel) and it’s sorted and we didn’t need to pay. Then to our surprise, we had the bill placed on our table mid-meal about another member of staff after being told it was sorted. Very disappointing considering it’s a luxury hotel and it was the day after our wedding and our night away. A luxury visit came with disappointment due to employees that’s just ended in expensive costs for us and let us a little embarrassed more than once.
