Although we seen the pictures online, the property was a lot larger in person. The property is actually 3/4 stories but the basement and top floor are private (owners must keep all their belonging in those areas for their stays NO ISSUE) This just meant that the living areas were actually more belonging to a 4/5 bedroom house. The living room, kitchen and bedrooms were huge. Property was extremely clean and recently decorated, a proper Ambleside home it was honestly perfect and for the price I was amazed I got to stay at such beautiful and cosy home. I’ve stayed in Ambleside 30+ times over the last 5 years and this was by far my favourite self-catering property. Home had everything you need for a relaxed stay away from all the madness of the city haha. No TVs in bedrooms which was actually a lovely change because it was just so peaceful and relaxing. Mattresses and bedding good quality, the larger mattress was extremely comfy. Bathrooms were all extremely clean and everything worked as it should with decent water pressure and fast hot water. Located right in the heart of Ambleside but slightly off the main road (Just 50m from the Petrol Station if you know the area) you didn’t hear the traffic at all. Kitchen had all the appliances/utensils, so no need to eat out if you preferred and they was all high quality, only thing missing was a microwave.

Didn’t like the fact we had to put the keys back haha! We honestly couldn’t fault a single thing with the home or the hosts. Thanks so much for the opportunity to stay in your lovely home, hopefully see again you soon.
