Great location with easy walk to shops and the lake. Cottage came with a car park which was excellent as we had a rental car, and this meant we didn't have to park on the street. Cottage had everything we needed, heating was easy to use - all in all a great place to stay.
Downstairs toilet had a slight seat issue, so one had to be careful not to have it slide sideways!

Very large rooms.comfortable and well equipped. Parking (2 spaces) available directly at side of property.
Negative first impressions having read welcome book. Expected to remove rubbish but threats of £30 fine inappropriate. Towels into bath at the end of the stay not too major but never been asked to strip a bed before .. feel this is a step too far.
Please note … owners did not pick up messages via booking.com. I had to phone the owners who normally dealt with Sykes. Is there a breakdown in communications here. Owner, however, was very helpful, answers questions and arranged an early check-in.

Very nice house impressive, gardens very well tended, good location, bedrooms and bathrooms very clean, plenty of parking.
The restaurant floor did not look very clean and the management information response was not very positive.
