フクロウの御宿 石和館

オーナーが近隣のお店や観光地を教えてくれました。知りたかったこともすぐに答えていただけたので、やはり住んでいる方の生の情報はいいなと思いました。 お宿も写真よりも素敵で期待以上でした！部屋も快適でした！共有のウォーターサーバー、ポットもあり、あたたかいお茶も飲めました。 同じ日に宿泊されていた家族ともお話しできて、とても良い旅の思い出になりました。 すぐ近くにきれいで大きな温泉施設もあるので、便利でした。大人500円！とお財布に優しいです。 翌朝のほったらかし温泉での朝日が目的だったので、寝れれば良いと思って予約しましたが、とても快適に楽しく過ごすことができました！

Friendly host, well-maintained facilities, and a clean, comfortable room. The bathroom has natural Isawa Onsen water coming directly from the tap, which was a great feature. The house has a natural, rustic feel, with the pleasant scent of maki wood throughout. Owl statues are placed around the property, adding a bit of character and charm. The host is also actively keeping the environment clean. Overall, it’s a charming and cozy place to stay.

Sound insulation is very limited. During our two-night stay, the ryokan was nearly empty on the first night, and there was very little noise. On the second night, it was fully occupied, and children were running and shouting until around 11:30pm, with noise starting again from around 6am. Although there are notices throughout the property asking guests to keep quiet, there did not appear to be active enforcement. As a result, the sleeping environment can vary significantly depending on the other guests and how considerate they are. The many notices about keeping quiet also somewhat detract from the traditional ryokan atmosphere. The location is relatively far from the station and other attractions. Travelling by car is likely the most convenient option, while walking to nearby attractions can realistically take around 15-30 minutes. Bicycle rental would be a useful addition given the location. There is no kitchen or dedicated dining area, and guests need to bring their own sleepwear.

素泊まりにはとてもコストパフォーマンスのよい宿でした。

お風呂は交代制で大きくないため、近くの銭湯を勧められた点。
